Small but cute playground for young kids. Clean and a lot of greens.
Good little green park in town for walking around! There are several beautiful big old trees and palms, it’s the best for picnic under the shed. Murphy is a lovely park which is not far from downtown. And the parking area is plenty.
A medium sized park, with a football field sized green area. There is a small play structure for small kids they'll love the small train engine. There is also a shady amphitheater in the back. Around a dozen benches scattered around, most in shady areas. Not sure how you can bowl, but there is a lovely bowling green area. For such a small park, there is an extraordinary amount of parking available, with shade!
Our favorite walk in the neighborhood is to Murphy park and back. Beautiful tres and fun playgrounds for my toddler. The one attached to the community building is open to anyone after 12pm every day used for preschool before that. Good bathrooms and drinking fountains
This park is pretty fun but doesn't seem to have a bathroom... so me and my kids had to head back to our Airbnb when my son had to go to the bathroom. There were no big kid swings either.
Solid community center my group uses for square dance. Spacious, with multiple groups using different areas of outside park. Centrally located / close to 237. Restrooms: Overall well-kept. Outside restrooms are sometimes out of order. indoor restrooms have loud hand dryer, FYI.
When my beloved was still alive, I loved to bring him here because it's cornered by Central Expressway and California/Sunnyvale-Saratoga Ave. So, it's rather safe as he got hit by a car previously. Since his passing away, the City has since added a fenced croquet field, and also ping-pong room for seniors to get in their daily exercises. At the other end, there is a brand new kids' playground that moms bring their toddlers. And finally, they've turned the back area behind pingpong room into an open air concert hall.
Went for a BBQ, and there were a lot of wasps flying around our food. I suspect there is wasp nest nearby.
Stopped for a quick spot to enjoy our JOY WOK dinner with my husband and daughter. Beautiful scenery and quiet.
Nice Park and great for Picnic and Events like Birthday Parties and many other occasions ! Playground: Nice Playground, there's also a kid's corner playground. I wish it was well maintained, but there's always some construction going on. Restrooms: Never been. Dog-friendliness: Yes Picnic area: Benches are available. Probably need more
