Murphys Community Park

Our dog LuLu made multiple friends both four legged and two legged. Lovely stream for kids and dogs to play in. Restrooms: My wife said the restrooms were OK Dog-friendliness: Dogs were playing in the creek.

This is a beautiful park right in the heart of the town. There is a creek running through it that's easy to access - kids and dogs were playing in it. There's a large playground area, plenty of picnic tables, bathrooms and a gazebo where they must have events, concerts, etc. There are some large trees so on a hot day, it's easy to find shade. This is a great place to spend several hours with kids.

This is our go to destination with our dogs whenever we just want to get out. The park and new veterans memorial are beautiful, especially the waterway that has been running for many years. Kautz family and Ironstone Vineyards are helping to restore many aspects that haven't been visible for a hundred years or more!

Great place to cone and relax. It offers a large playground with slide, climbing structure and lots of fun for the little ones It has shade for comfort . Gazebo for summer music concerts or other events. Picnic benches provided but you must provide own barbecue supplies. Grassy areas for relaxing on a blanket and of course the nice cool creek to beat the heat. I recommend you come see for yourself.

Summer of 2023. Really great right now. I believe the water levels are little higher than normal. My kid had a blast floating down the stream. Nice shaded park. Ample parking. Easy, fun and free.

absolutely beautiful area. we visited for the farmer's market and it did not disappoint! lovely vendors with very high quality items. pictured are vietnamese spring rolls and artichoke focaccia bread. there's tons of parking plus public restrooms. highly recommend =

I spent an afternoon here with a couple of kids. We all had a great time. The kids enjoyed the playground while I read a book from the free book exchange. The sound of the creek was very relaxing. Playground: The kids loved the playground! There was enough equipment to keep them entertained for hours. Restrooms: The restrooms are conveniently located and clean. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly park and they supply potty bags. Picnic area: Great place for a picnic. There are picnic tables where you can relax while listening to the sound of the creek.

I wanted to share the beautiful fall colors in Murphy's park. I come down to the park a couple times a week for a walk. There's public bathrooms, plenty of picnic tables for an afternoon lunch. A playground for the kiddo's. A little creek to play in during the warm days. And if you want to dine out there's the Murphy's Hotel and, other restaurants to choose from.

Lovely setting. Very dog friendly, several dogs playing in the water that day. Variety of seating options - shade, sun, etc. There are restrooms available. The town of Murphys is steps away.

Sunday farmers market! Great vendors! Beautiful location. Lots of seating. Lots of shade! And the water running through it is a BONUS! Restrooms: Nice bathrooms in park. Picnic area: Tables all over.
