I was so nervous to come here, but Kelechi made me feel so taken care of. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable, yet fun and down to earth at the same time. I actually asked if she was a student, because I thought she was the dentist! She will be an incredible dentist in her future, and I would 1000% go to her. Update: I came back for an extraction and was taken care of by Hanan and Kadi who were BEYOND sweet and did a great, efficient job. Many bad reviews on here, but these students really care, are well educated and work very hard. They deserve a lot of credit. Thank you again!
I was there a couple years ago and they remove my wisdom teeth top and bottom they nob me so I can’t feel anything best densit they treat you when you need to be treated very nice
About 2-3 week ago I went to Temple Dentist because my tooth was hurting so the cleaned to tooth out to do a root canal and put a temporarily cap on it. A week ago the tooth started again with the hot and cold sensitivity so I kept my mouth comfortable with Listerine until I was able to get into the dentist which I went last Thursday when they didn't do anything so they had me come back that Friday morning and they said the tooth that they were trying to save will have to be extracted and to come back so I ended up leaving and finding somewhere else to go. Long story short I called the place on Friday and they got me an appointment for Monday which was today. I am NEVER going back to Temple Dentist The school!!!!!!!! I love the new location that I found for my dentist and feel so is much better!!! 6/6/2023 The tooth that Temple saved and put a cap on it has come out which wasn't suppose to so my insurance company and I paid for the cap and was suppose to be permanent so why is it open?????? I had to get away from Temple. They are the reason why I have a lot of Missing teeth.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Could’ve left them 0 stars I would’ve. Went there with 8 level pain. They poked in my mouth for about 3 hours the pain went from 10 above off the charts. She also told me they couldn’t prescribe me opioids. I’m not here for drugs. They took me upstairs to cluster B Emergency the receptionist at the front desk a man was Rude wouldn’t fit me in they were discussing my personal information in the waiting room in front of other patients, There was another Student dentist there She was also rude laughed at the situation, said she had somewhere to go by 6p.m, The Staff coordinator was rude also They all were saying it was Friday an 3p.m like it was closing time it wasn’t. They wouldn’t even try for another day they were complaining all of them. The male receptionist was saying not even then. I’m contacting my insurance company, an patient rights. Not human at all. The student dentist take took me tried to normalize the situation No it wasn’t right disgusting behavior, I am still in pain to No avail. Don’t waste your time.
Had a great experience this morning. Dr. Kim and the staff assured me everything would go well and it did. Highly recommend getting dental work done here.
Today I experience the worst time here, people don’t know how to treat you and do nothing for the patients understand the process or even care of them, for Latinos community and deaf people don’t have translator and the explain with no manners at all. Worst experience in my 13 years living in Philadelphia.
They destroyed my mouth and sent me on my way. I have been in pain since and no one else will see me because they didn't do the work. Stay away. You save nothing but grieve by going elsewhere. First and last time!!!
Very bad experience with the Faculty Dental practice. I became a new patient a year ago because I work at Temple Hospital and thought it would be convenient given the location. I made an appointment for a check up and when I arrived they told me the dentist would see me but I would need to make a separate appointment to come back to do the teeth cleaning with the hygienist. This had not been mentioned when I made the appointment and I have never in my life been to a dentist where this would not be done at the same visit. I work 100 hours a week and needing to make 2 separate appointments is a major inconvenience. My most recent appointment I was 17 minutes late to because I got out of work late. They refused to see me saying you’re only allowed 10 minutes past your appointment time. I am a doctor and routinely give patients up to 30 minutes past their appointment time. They could then not reschedule me for another month out. I will be changing practices. Would not recommend.
Idk reading some of the reviews I guess it does depend on who you get as your dentist. I’m having a great experience working with this dental school. These students are students. They’re learning. Everything takes longer. I’m not really sure how people are saying it costs more than a regular dentist. I’m getting an implant done and will end up spending less than 2k? Every other dentist in Philly has quoted me over 4,000$. I got a flipper obviously not perfect but it’s good enough for me here for 70$. I think other dentists would’ve charged 300-400+. Also, the students I’ve interacted have all been great. They’ve been patient and explained literally everything step by step, answering every single question I’ve asked. It’s hard to get in for sure but once I got in my dentist was very communicative.
Please don’t go here students are very uneducated. It takes forever to be seen everyone is just walking around the facility looking fake busy wasting gloves and supplies…. And while you wait long hours your cell phone will have horrible service
