Very beautiful park. We went on a Saturday afternoon, very little traffic. The 2 paths we went on were also stroller friendly, our little guy loved seeing all the different sites. Can’t wait for the next visit.
Very nice camping area. The sites were clean and easy to locate. Roads are well done and clearly marked. The beach was a little mucky and small. But it was still fun taking kayaks out there. The bathrooms and showers are really clean. Playground: Fun for all ages! Restrooms: Super clean!!! Dog-friendliness: Bring the doggos, they will LOVE it! Picnic area: Very spacious.
Pretty trails. Lots of parking. Beautiful but a bit loud as it's right off the highway. Lots of pretty rocks & birds. We came in early spring where there is still a bit of snow. The trails are very easy, not hilly or rocky so a great place for kids or beginner hikers. There was a lot of trash. I highly encourage those who love the earth to bring a small bag on their hikes & pick up what they can. Enjoy!
Large campsites. Good place to kayak or take an easy hike. Convenient location near dells and devils lake. Not the best showers/ bathroom, not the worst. Attentive camp hosts when we visited every thing nice and clean. Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed on trails on leash
Beautiful lake, perfect for water activities as it's no-wake. So many cool spots to hike. You can spend all weekend here camping and not run out of things to do. Renting kakaks and paddle boards is a little expensive but worth it to see all the views.
A nice place to spend a weekend with friends or family with camping, hiking, swimming or simply relaxing. The park is beautiful, with many towering bluffs along the lake best appreciated from a canoe or kayak while kids can play in the sandy beach. Try to go and experience what Mirror Lake has to offer for the whole family.
I love mirror lake! It’s a beautiful place to hike, paddle, swim, camp, and fish! The man made lake is in a steep sided canyon filled with beautiful trees and rock formations. I love this place!
This state park is awesome. It has its own charm and words or pictures dont really do it justice. You just have to go and experience the beauty for yourself. Definately recommended. Iots of campers and friendly folks waving as you walk or drive by too. You can buy firewood at 7 dollars a bundle and spend some time at the camp grounds and tell stories or just relax watching the flickering flames. A nice get away from the daily grind. Restrooms: No soap or running water. Eww
A year later, still awesome. Wonderful in park with ample trails and waterways. Big campground and quite private too. Quiet for the Dells area which is perfect to getaway from all the chaos in town. Updated with more photos.
Beautiful setting. Received table in 10 min. Steak menu selection good. Meat very tender and flavorful. Beautiful setting in the woods. Many levels of bars. A little difficult if you cannot use steps. By
