Mission Raceway Park

Absolutely love this place, it is a staple in missions history. They always have some sort of event going on, as they have a dirt bike/ quad race track, they have a drift/ regular race track, and they have the drag strip all at this compound. Highly recommend bringing your kids to experience the feel of power from some of these cars as it is exhilarating. The staff are extremely friendly and the place is kept externally clean. Lots and lots of parking always, and they allow camping if you are from out of town and are staying for some of the weekend events. You can also park your truck or SUV along the side of the drag strip to have a really cool view. They are now starting to stream a lot of the events on MRP Lordco Tv YouTube channel so you don’t miss out on the coverage of these events. Mission residence usually get in for free or get a discount, just bring ID to show that you live in mission. Over all I will be always coming back to mission raceway park as it never disappoints and is always a great time! Thanks to all the volunteers and workers that keep this place running!

Established in 1992. Mission Raceway Park is one of BC's premier race facilities. It plays host to NHRA Drag Racing events from April thru October as well as Road Course Racing and Numerous Community Events. I used to drag race here and its was a rush.. safety is their priority as well as the atmosphere It was a lot of fun watching the drift n drag event! I would recommend spending an afternoon at the track for anyone who lives cars and/or racing! Value for money and worth every min of the time being there, if you like watching people drift or do drifting yourself

[That's EDITED today - POSTED last wkd] How can I poss convey the visceral thrill that compels you to pack a cooler on a blistering summer day & burn down to the Raceway to bag your front-row fence-side spot smack next to the track, then drop the tailgate alongside your fellow MR freaks & kick back to experience the heady highs of high-octane drag racing, Mission-style? I can try.. but words won't do it justice: the fun of it is BEING THERE. So if you have yet to experience it yourself, I suggest you quit stalling & GO -- with the kids, if you have em -- one of these weekends, b4 the season's up early/mid-Oct There's usually a breeze coming off the river -- but if you get too hot, there's always the AC'd trailer that sells Freezies++ & souvenirs eg. $3 HotWheels! behind the BBQ'd smokeys which Frank recommends, along with the burgs & fries.. & onion rings, if they're on! It's an ear-bustin, eye-poppin rush of impressively tweaked-to-the-max speed machines of all breeds lining up raring to race, revving & roaring at the start line & jumping into action to blast down the track at breakneck speeds 150-220 MPH not uncommon yesterday, 2nd day of this weekend's 'Fire & Thunder' event Being our 1st time back post-Covid reminded how much fun we can have for $20 a head for the day And the crowd -- familiar faces & strangers alike -- seemed friendlier than ever.. Total gas!

I love this place. It’s for the few, but happy. Bring your family, cousins, lawn chair, dinner, cards and a big smile. People love to hang out here and have a good time. That’s what life is about. I went drifting as the passenger and it was ecstatic. Adrenaline to the roof as I sat and saw cars gliding by my face with the possible threat to my life. But it was worth every second!

Anytime is a good time for racing so get out and enjoy! Whether it's Friday night street legals, nitro harleys, Nostalgia cars, door slammers, promods and much more!! Cheap local entertainment....there's fun for everyone!

This is the place to be in the summer. Friday night street legals - people come in from all over the lower mainland, some even cross the border from Washington State. Then over the weekends they have a lot of different drag and hot rod competitions. Their website is it great for seeing the up coming events and they are all really great to go watch. Pro-tip: Check the weather before coming out be auae if it is raining events will be cancelled. They also have an online webcam conmected to the homepahe that you can check out. Highly reccomend ear plugs as some are loud, and it's also possible to walk around the pits and see the cars as people prep for racing.

Always a fun time! Caught some nitro funny cars this evening and it had the adrenaline flowing. Older venue but was a classic place growing up, so it brings back memories. Crew does a great job of keeping cars moving down the track. Great place to take your kids, just make sure you bring some ear plugs for them!

Smoke and Thunder is an incredible event. Big sound, lots of racing action and thrills to delight any race car fan! Check out the shops and vendors. Food on site is very good. Be sure to check out the pits and meet the racers. They are generally very friendly and approachable. Exciting race action for the family. Bring ear plugs and if you forget them they sell them at the shop!

Always a great time at Mission Raceway. I would also like to give a huge shout out to the ladies washroom cleaner. She does an amazing job. Thank you hun. The announcer. Where would we be without this guy. Quick wit, great memory and not afraid to tell the rowdys to behave. Seriously..fireworks during a fire ban? Grow up. Best birthday gift I got. A weekend at the track!
