I'm not picky, I had AC in the bus rental which was my main goal, but I do have a couple issues, the fridge was nasty inside and those bath houses need to active ventilation, as well as the grill there being cash only in 2023 and the ATM in the store having a 5 dollar fee. Other than that I had fun. note that your better off bringing your own bedding. Check the website for all fees. Showers are free though water pressure may vary.
Fun place to be but limited sleep! Quiet hours don’t start till 2am but they tell you that when you call. People bring huge speakers and blast music until that cutoff. Tent campsites are close together but it’s obvious where the spaces are which is nice and they all have two electric outlets and come with a trashcan and recycling. The numbers don’t quite make sense so look at the site map and walk to it before you grab all your stuff! You can’t park your car at the campsite and depending on where your site is you might have a little bit of a walk from where your car can go. Tube service was awesome! The cooler float has a bag for recycling! I’d suggest bringing some sort of cover for the float as the black rubber gets hot quickly and maybe a paddle for the shallow spots! River is slow right now it took us 7ish hours for a “5 hour float” Heads up tent sites don’t have water and most of them did not have fire pits. Ask before you book! We camped at site 10 and I was happy with how close the bathrooms were. There’s more than just the main bathhouse and seem well kept. The showers are small and for us there was no hot water.
We stayed in the mini bus at Mountain Breeze and it was so worth it! So adorable and fulfilled my fantasy of how it would be to live in a bus that was remodeled into a little home. Highly recommend!
i have camped here twice so far. great service and great people it can get a little noisy on the weekends but thats to be expected. even the people neighbor to us were very nice i love my times at this campground
My favorite place to stay when I go to New Braunfels to float the river. Easy access to the river, lots of space, sand volleyball courts, live music on the weekends and friendly staff. They have plenty of RV parking, cabins, and tent spots available I can't wait to go back. 4th of July weekend, here we come!
Didn’t camp, but went tubing and rent tubes! The bus ride was a bus ride! There was plenty of parking and tubes when we went on Saturday around 1
Went down and visited for party and camp falloween weekend. They kept the trash empty and the restrooms clean during the festivities. There's no ATM on site and a lot of the stuff in the store is super expensive, so bring your own cash. I floated the river on a previous outing here and it was awesome. The river was too low this time around to float. Restrooms: Cleaned regularly
I love this campground!!!It wasn’t crowded, The shallow river was just nearbywhich is kid friendly. You can set tents nearby the river, set an RV or rent the cabins. The cabins were very cute and cozy; It has a full size bed ,ac/heater ,picnic Tables , and ring pit . All you need is extra pillows and blankets and your ice chest packed. The owners were very friendly and nice thank you I’m definitely coming back with more family here
Had a great time camping here! First time campers in a tent with 2 little ones, hubby and sister. The front desk did caution me that this is considered a party campground and loud music would be a thing, and she was right! lol Didn't mind it for the most part - went on just about all night. Live country music Fri/Saturday night was nice for those who enjoy country music. Lots of people - lots of camp spots. Besides the drunk guy wandering over to and laying in front of our tent and his group being extremely loud all night yelling, tussling etc - everything was great! Convenient store has some items campers need, floating was easy and shuttle driver was right there at the exit when we got there! He was really helpful and cool - front desk folks and grill folks were nice too. Would definitely come back!
The campground Staff is always friendly The restroom are all clean And the food is always fresh
