I had total hip replacement at Sinai Medical Center on June 21. I was nervous about having it done at Sinai based on location alone. I have to tell you I had the best care I could possibly have wanted or expected at any hospital. Every nurse, every CNA, every PT were positive, quick to respond, and professional. The post surgical unit was well staffed and there was very little wait time for anything. There was a new surgical nurse on the unit named Johnny V and he made my 3 day hospital stay so much less stressful than it could have been. I even had to have a special walker available post surgery and it was waiting for me and brought up by PT after surgery. If you have any doubts about Sinai for surgery, no need to worry, they provided me exceptional care.
I was brought here when I had premature rupture of membranes at 25 weeks pregnant. Everybody here was amazing the entire time. My son spent 89 days in the NICU. Every doctor and nurse I came into contact with was accommodating, kind, and just made the entire scary situation a good experience. My son was born 26 weeks and received amazing care, and I was taken care of very well, also. I am very grateful
Don't give birth here. 5 years later and I definitely regret it. I got induced. They don't help you with managing pain like the website says. They ignore you. I got the epidural cause there was nothing else I could do. 3 days in pain. The nurse was really rude and mean. When I was already about to have the baby she started throwing a fit about it. She made a comment about my stretch marks. Once I had the baby she told me the baby has a "whiney cry." They definitely don't help with teaching how to breastfeed. They made me feel like I was wrong for not being able to. I could keep going on but this hospital is just horrible. Avoid it for labor!!! Oh they also gave me my baby's foot prints and someone else's baby foot prints that were not for me.
I use to have good experiences here since I started coming here in January. But that has all changed, now the family medicine clinic gets a huge thumbs down.....my 2nd to last visit I waited over 40 minutes to be called for a scheduled appointment...then the back of the house was just as bad....I was on a time restraint; something I expressed many times over. I had to leave before I had what I went for done, and then again it happened again yesterday...I've already decided to change my doctor; don't go here, find someplace better...!!!!
Amazing staff @ Aurora Sinai Medical Center!! I had my first child here and then he was in the n.i.c.u. after that for almost a month. And what I can say with % confidence and belief is.... All of the doctors and nurses were caring and wonderful people. That is 100 percent what I experienced. So thank you all so much for making that tough time in our lives as painless as it possibly could have been‼
Dr Ubiscus is very rude and sarcastic and dismissive. I would like to switch Doctors. She cut me off after asking about the EMERGENCY that I called for. I will NOT allow her in ANY of my appointments again.
Every time I come it's always a 4+ hour wait!!... it's an EMERGENCY.... why do u gotta wait so long every time!!... I been sitting in this lobby for 4 hours in pain!
terrible terrible customer service. when i call this number the people who answer are insanely rude and unhelpful, and cut me off/hang up on me before i can explain my situation. i called explaining that i have medication withdrawals due to the incompetence of whoever the in internal medicine team is preventing my ADHD medication from being refilled, which I need or i’ll have terrible withdrawals. i was hung up on before i was able to leave my message. i am furious with this location’s customer service. absolutely terrible
If I could rate this experience a zero, I would. What type of specialty department has their testing area within a stone’s throw from their mouse’s den of a waiting area. I was scheduled for a pulmonary test on May 10, which was very humiliating. I feel sorry for anyone who would have to perform that type of test in front of a full waiting room. I was fortunate, that the only one that was in there, was my mother. The test results were very inconclusive . If you want basic human privacy and courtesy, avoid this location like the plague!
My inpatient experience was Outstanding in every way. Amazing, extremely thorough, skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate, attentive physicians as well as every nurse, CNA, phlebotomists, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, cleaning staff, and anyone else I may have missed.
