Select Specialty Hospital (MilwaukeeSaintFrancis)

I have had to be placed here on two separate occasions, the first time was a long amazing experience and I was terribly sad when it came time to move on. Unfortunately my lungs were compromised and I had to return to select specialty. I have no problem coming at this time because I already knew most of the staff and loved them like family. I would normally name names and let other people know how much they mean to me, but that would take writing down every single name of all of the nursing and cna staff, including, a cleaning staff and cooking as well as all the respiratory therapist. You all mean so very much to me thank you so much for all that you’ve done for me.

I'm currently a patient here and overall I'd say the place does what it's supposed to do..it's a step down hospital..at least in my case it is..I feel the CNAs could be faster and there are quite a few decent nurses..of course there will always be 1 or 2 that I personally have issues with..but I am getting my wound care and physical therapy done..after this it's home I go n honestly I'm looking forward to it

This place is the best place I could've ever ended up at, not only did they give me the best care I ever had and could've received,the care and personal attention their nurses provided to me made all the difference in my recovery,the staff,housekeeping and food service was always top notch,I've been in many different hospitals and Select specialty hospital bu far is the best one I've ever been to, I wish I didn't have to leave, but because of the excellent care and attention they gave to me I am able to, and I'm very glad and grateful that they were the ones who made sure that happened, thank you all.

I consider my wife and I blessed that we picked this place for her recovery. The folks that work here are truly amazing! It is very obvious that to them, this isn't simply a job. The care and compassion they show is evident with every interaction and every moment we spend there. A special set of angel's wings to nurses Cathy and Brad and RTs Jen, Lori Anne and Andi. But, also thank-you to all of the rest of the fantastic people for the wonderful encouragement and hand-holding through a very tough and trying time.

Best hospital experience ever I would recommend select to anyone. They really care for you mentally physically and emotionally. Thank God for a select.

I love the way I actually got to know the staff and be able to communicate with them. Communication is key. I'm glad I made the right decision and came to the right hospital. I love Select Specialty Hospital and all the staff. I will always come back to visit.

The staff was extremely attentative and caring to all my needs required in order for me to become capable of moving to Rehab to get me one step closer to home.

I really like the way the nurses and cna's took care of my mom. We are so Blessed she was sent there from St. Luke's Hospital. She was very well tooken care of so I wanna thank the Lord first off then I wanna thank the doctors, nurses and cna's thank you so much for giving my mom another chance

I beg you not to send your loved one here. This place is abhorrent on so many levels, and it shows that it's a FOR PROFIT facility. They will fumble the ball continuously on follow-up care, not give you updates and really just straight up lie to you. Also, do not believe that your loved one will receive adequate therapy here. I was told by a nurse at this facility that Select advertises itself as providing intensive therapy, but really is only focused on preventing loss, not ADDING or improving anything. She told me that it's a deceptive recruiting method to get patients. The list goes on. Our experience was nothing short of torture for our family. The biggest tip is to MANAGE YOUR LOVED ONE'S CARE YOURSELF. Nobody here will do it, especially not the case manager Rob. Overall, this place should be shut down.
