Amazing experience! Quick and professional. Well organized. I called Friday AM and was given a same day appointment time in PM. In and out in 20 minutes. Saw an actual Doctor. Best experience I've ever had with an urgent care clinic.
This clinic has been going downhill! What is the purpose of a "walk in clinic" if you have to call ahead and make an appointment? Defeats the "walk in purpose" Some of the doctors in walk in do not want to actually work and will make excuses on why they cannot do their job! So you waste your time going. The staff is friendly and the lab staff are great at their job.
Skip the “walk-in” clinic and make the drive to somewhere that wants to treat walk-ins. What a waste of time. Was instructed by primary to bring my child to the walk-in since primary was closing for the day and my child needed to be seen. Wasted 40 minutes on hold trying to have my sick child seen. Must have been too close to closing time. Could clearly see a receptionist sitting at the desk and only one car in the parking lot. What a joke! And please, spare me the long explanation about going to a same-day walk- in model. That has been the excuse for the past at least 7 months. A “walk-in” is just that… a walk-in!
Turned my mother away twice within a week and refused to see her or give her a new primary after her primary from there retired and because of that she's now admitted into the hospital with a severe infection that could have been cleared two weeks ago! Let along them refusing my infant at 1week old and my 4yr old because he had an ear infection during the peak of covid.
Total incompetence, from the Dr's on down, will never go back. Changing to McLaren internal medicine in Petoskey. Had an appointment for today for wife's follow up after 2-1/2 weeks in the hospital.. said they canceled it with a voice-mail. No voice-mail on our phones!!!
I called in the morning and got in before noon at the walk-in side. all three of the medical staff I encountered were absolutely amazing and understanding.
I agree with the previous reviews I just read. After being there since they opened I tried refilling my prescriptions an doctor was on vacation, AGAIN, we all need time off but none of the several other doctor's could refill my prescriptions? I had to wait 3 days? And going to the walkin clinic side is useless, I was very upset understandable I had already requested my medical records to go elsewhere. I understand that I'm not the only person NOT satisfied. Kinda laughed at that. Not the only game in around, they are losing patients left & right one time I was told to go home because it would be a hour or better, 5 minutes later I got a call asking where was I? I said the person at the door sent me home. I was told that was a MISTAKE?. Apparently they have to many patients,I wish them well. Instead of them caring about what was going on with me as patient I received at letter, certified that I would no longer be a patient, that's not a place for me. A matter of convincence is not a option for good heath care! It's dollars.I AM NOT A OVER USER OF MEDS. I've been with m.rorick for 30 years, so your front staff jumped the GUN! They should be fired. This for Peggy rorick, .we will both move on. There was no demanding. You cannot leave a patient without narcotics that you. Without nacactics that you prescribed for 3 days.if this was my dogs medication. He would have died. I don't need to contact your automated response, look at your rating reviews! Fix the problems!!
Very unorganized! My father was told he could walk in at any time for a routine blood draw. He called when the office opened and asked if he could come in today and was told yes. He drove to Indian River and upon arrival he was told they don't do blood draws anymore on Friday. This office needs to communicate better and give correct information. Very frustrating driving for a blood draw three times and not being able to be seen.
Vacationing here. Started running a fever, sores in my throat, headache- just miserable. Decided to try the " walk-in" clinic so I called to see if they were still open it was 5pm, site said open until 6pm. No one answered after 10 minutes of being on hold after the selection for the walk in clinic was made, so I hung up and called again- still no answer. My husband drove me in. It was 5:20 when I arrived. One car in the lot. No one visibly waiting. The door said you need to call to make a same day appointment. The phone recording -prior to being put on hold does not state it is by appointment only. It would have been helpful if it stated this or if someone actually answered the phone before it actual closed to let you know. It is misleading to call it a "walk in" clinic.
I took my girlfriend here not long ago for ear pain. They couldn't find out what was wrong and charged her 200 for the visit. We later found out she was getting her wisdom tooth in and that is what was causing the pain. A simple check in her mouth from the doctor would have at least not made this trip a waste of gas and money. On top of that the nurse was having a very uncomfortable conversation with my girlfriend basically talking about her stance on a political opinion. Very unimpressed and we will never be going there again.
