National Soccer Hall of Fame
"The NSHOF's new home in Frisco comes after not having a home for seven years, with the previous home located in Oneonta, NY from 1979-2010. It was officially recognized as the NSHOF by U.S. Soccer in 1983.The NSHOF Experience is a 19,350-square foot segment of the NSHOF that honors the past, while fully incorporating modern technology of the present and future including virtual reality, gesture technology and interactive digital video boards throughout to celebrate the players, veterans and builders of American soccer that have elevated the sport to where it is today. It features interactive exhibits, iconic soccer memorabilia and serves as the home for Hall of Fame induction ceremonies annually."

The National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco is an excellent destination for soccer enthusiasts. The museum's displays are informative and well-presented, providing visitors with an in-depth understanding of the history and significance of soccer in the United States. The displays feature a range of artifacts, including jerseys, photographs, and memorabilia, which bring the history of soccer to life. One of the standout features of the museum is its interactive displays. These displays allow visitors to learn about the game of soccer in a hands-on way, which can be particularly engaging for children. The displays cover a range of topics, including the rules of the game, the history of soccer in the United States, and the careers of some of the country's most successful soccer players. Overall, if you are a fan of soccer or sports history in general, the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco is a must-visit destination. The museum's informative displays and interactive exhibits offer a unique and engaging perspective on the history of soccer in the United States.
I enjoyed seeing the trophies, old shin guards and uniforms, as I’m really interested in soccer. There are interactive stations but they can stand to be improved. You can build a dream team but it ends there. You should be able to go head to head with another team in a video game or something like that. I recommend it for serious soccer fans if your in the area. I wouldn’t plan a long trip to get here though.
Always a great time whether at an FC Dallas game or to take a tour of the high tech Hall of Fame. In the Hall of Fame, make sure to register your name and profile upon entry because that is used for a personalized experience throughout the museum/Hall of Fame. My three favorite areas are the green screen area where you can create funny pictures of you with various players in situations. The next is where you can create your own soccer jersey and last thing is the Virtual reality section where you can immerse yourself in games. Play goalie and stop shots! The shooting on goal in the penalty kicks can be a little frustrating if you don't do the kicking motion properly. In the large room that overlooks the FC Dallas field, do not miss looking down at the floor to see the glasses in boxes of memorabilia. Also, this area is great on game days. Here is a photo from the recent Star Wars night at FC Dallas taken in the Hall of Fame building.
As a hard core football fan I'm a little hurt that it's so small. But as an American, I know all the reasons why. They have some great memorabilia and many of the exhibits are interactive, which is good if you have kids ours are grown. We got in right before closing for a Mavericks game, so we had to rush through. The gift shop was also closed for the same reason. Plan your visit accordingly.
We went here late on a Wednesday, by the way tickets are only $5 on Wednesdays. It was just us for about 30 minutes until another family came. It was nice to see all the historic items associated with US Soccer. Too bad the store was closed, but then they said it was closed for several weeks. The youngest was about to go a scavenger hunt, so they had to actually read and learn things. So that's a plus. Unfortunately it was dark when we went, so we could see Toyota Stadium.
Great experience. My husband loved it and it wasn't busy so he really got to enjoy it and see all the display items. They also provided a scavenger hunt for my daughter. She answered all the questions and got a prize. Overall a cool place to go to see some interesting soccer memorabilia and learn a few new things.
I like seeing the history of the game but it's sad that they lost things to a flood in New York. There was more than I expected and the interactive games were fun. The only thing that might make it better is to offer drinks and snacks. And Wednesday is the day to go with 5 dollar tickets.
So glad we were able to see this place. From our first step inside, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The interactive component is a great personal touch, and the exhibits are well done and really enhance your knowledge of the game’s history in this country. Having a daughter that loves the game, this Hall of fame is a must see, I also recommend if you can to plan your visit around a FC Dallas game, a very cool feature is that the Hall is tied together with their soccer stadium.
Had a great time. Great place to visit.
Great place for any soccer fan. Explained the history of soccer in the US. Fantastic memorabilia from medals to uniforms. They also house the world cup trophies from the USWNT and USMNT. Great for kids with interactive displays and great view of the Toyota stadium, the home of FC Dallas.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
