The North Texas School of Swedish Massage was founded in 1994 by Don Halsell, Marilyn Halsell, and their daughter Nilda Halsell-Tull. The family fell in love with massage therapy and wanted to provide others with the opportunity to enjoy life and their career. Becoming a massage therapist allows a person to choose to have a positive impact and change everyday. We believe in a healthy balance between God, family, and career. A career in massage therapy can allow that--the opportunity to be successful without sacrificing everything else. At NTSSM we understand that it's about more than massage...it's about life.
NTSSM's goal is to provide an educational opportunity which assists each student to meet and exceed state requirements for gaining the credentials to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. We believe in empowering our students so that graduates can pass the state exam and create a successful and abundant career for themselves.
The family intends on staying this course as long as the blessing to teach continues.
