We spent a weekend there with family and friends in October, just before the campground close for the season. If you like nature and to be surrounded by trees, you will like this place! Definitely NOT the typical private campground that is just a concrete parking lot! The kids loved to play by the river, to have a campfire, to ride the bicycle around,... The campground hosts were very nice and welcoming. The children got bunch of treats. Thank you so much ! We will be back!
My husband and I have been coming to this campground for 10+ years. It’s fantastic and close to our home. The views are beautiful and it’s rustic but still has electricity/ water at select sites do you homework if you want it and reserve the appropriate site. I’ll rough it a little bit, but electricity and water are a must for us. We’ve stayed in several different locations, but love being down by the water. There’s indoor bathrooms around and showers up top at the main entrance if you need/ want them. And Rob, the security/ groundskeeper/golf cart driver extraordinaire, is very responsive if you need anything. Our son burned his fingers on a burning twig one morning and Rob ran up to his place and got some cream to help us out. He also does a great job keeping an eye on any potential “issues” with other campers aka, the “stop blasting your music at all hours of the evening, I need sleep” crowd. Much appreciated! We’ll be back a couple more times this year. :
My wife, my dog and I just spent a week here and had a great time. The staff were extremely friendly. They came by everyday to play with our dog and to say "Hi"! We had a great experience. Karaoke poolside was a blast! Thumbs up to Matthew the DJ! Thank you for making our time there so special.
As a once happy customer I'd say this is a beautiful campground with nice sites, decent toilets and showers, pretty bumpy roads but hey its camping. I've been to this place almost every single week for the past 2 years and everything was amazing. But at my last few experiences I was really unhappy with the way the management treated us although you say we did something wrong there is something called communication and you gave us 0 of that, you also canceled my upcoming reservations without telling me word, come on I did give you some nice business. 3 stars are for all the great times I had there. Christie please call me so we can talk about
Stayed here multiple times. Great campground with beautiful river and secluded sites. Owners are super friendly. The dirt road into the campground could use a little work but other than that, no complaints at all.Service: 5/5
We had an amazing experience. The staff was super kind ,welcoming and helpful.A staff member came down in the morning to bring my kids some bouncing balls and prizes! The pool is heated and saltwater ohh so comfortable on the skin. They have a court for volley ball and a playground. We booked a campsite with direct access to the river. It was so worth it .Just be careful it's a strong current and deeper than it seems.Beautiful well kept and clean grounds.Overall fantastic experience .
It's been our 4th time camping here and we love it! It's our 2nd time with our son and he had a great time too. The events hosted are fun and engaging and all the restrooms were clean and maintained. Can't wait to return next year!
I was there for a weekend, the campground is nice with a beautiful lake. However, some of the staff was extremely rude and ruined our weekend. Some kids were even scared to sleep at night.
Excellent camp site just inside New York. Their primitive sites were excellent and even had a spider infested cabin where you can find two stalls and a urinal as well as sinks! Steep hill to the primitive sights would recommend awd or 4x4. My subie handled it fine even loaded down with stuff. Cheap and epic can't complan!
Great rustic family campground. With beutiful veiws on a gorgeous river . I stress rustic though . If you want to enjoy nature at its finest. This is the place for you . If you want all the fancy amenities goto the poconos. This is rustic with your basic needs and a nice pool . So if you want to bring monster stereos and DJ equipment goto a park or something. This is the place to enjoy nature . Love it there .
