Library
The Ojibwa Community Library, Wiikwedong Dazhi-Ojibwe Agindaasoowigamig, is located at 409 Superior Avenue, Baraga, Michigan. The library is part of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. It is open to all tribal members and residents of Baraga County. The library has 6 public computers, and wireless internet connection. We have a large collection of Native American books (adult and children), periodicals, audio books, and movies. There is also a large selection of the latest non-native fiction books, non-fiction books, and audio books for adults and children along with movies and periodicals. The library provides the following services: Inter-library loan and E book lending via Overdrive. Copying and laminating services are also available for a small fee.
The mission of the Ojibwa Community Library is to provide a collection of print and non-print materials to meet the lifelong learning, recreational, research, cultural, and informational needs of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community for all ages from pre-school to college age to elders.
