The Oldham County History Center has 3 facilities, the Peyton Samuel Head Family Museum, the J. Chilton Barnett Archives and the Rob Morris Chapel Educational Building. The Center is located on the block that is west of the Oldham County Courthouse Square in LaGrange, KY.
The Oldham County Historical Society provides an environment in which the life of th epast is experience in the present. Through its exhibits, programs, events and activities, it will engage people in a dynamic process of thought, participation and action. It will strive to affirm the importance of individual and collective memory to develop a more enlightened society.
