Law Enforcement Exploring
Law Enforcement Exploring offers young men and women who have completed the 8th grade and are 14 years old, or are 15 years old but not yet 21 years old the opportunity to experience the role, duties and responsibilities of a future career in law enforcement.
Law Enforcement Exploring educates and involves youth in police operations and to spark interest in a future law enforcement career and to build mutual understanding. The education aspect provides knowledge of the law enforcement function in their community. Through involvement, the Explorer program establishes an awareness of the complexities of police services.
There are yearly Academies that you can attend in a specific field representing your Explorer Post. You will go to the Base, Department, or Federal Building to learn how that branch works. Whether it's the Secret Service, Forensic Science, Aviation Engineering and much more.
We will give you a taste of what being a real Officer of the Law is like.
