Love the clearance stuff they have. It's nice and cool inside, have beautiful lawn ornaments, decor, etc but they don't make screens contrary to their website, they are a bit over priced, but their loyalty program gives $5 certificates every once in a while including your birthday! Make sure to checkout their paint section, for a limited time if you buy a sample sized paint $5.99, you'll receive $5 towards a premium Quart or Gallon!
Going out of business. Not sure if they have anything left. I grabbed lights for the kitchen ceiling. $2.50 each! And other basic needs. Light bulbs, new lock set for the front door, shelving brackets, can find the shelves elsewhere. All tools are gone. Pretty picked over. All plants were gone except a couple. Holiday decorations, tall ones. They had paint but I didn't look.
Great neighborhood hardware store, with extremely clean bathrooms and store. The employees male and female know their jobs well. They go out of their way to assist you with your special home projects. I love this store, it's fun to see all their new seasonal and fancy yard decorations. July 2, 2018
Customer service really sucks at this store. I purchase a patio furniture here and scheduled the delivery for the following Saturday. Long story short, somebody was suppose to call me on Friday to schedule the time of delivery for Saturday. I waited all day for a phone call. By 6:00 pm I decided to call the store and this is when my frustration started. I spoke with Regina and basically she left me to deal with their third party delivery service. After talking to their delivery service, I was told they don't have a driver scheduled for my area and they would have to reschedule. I called Orchard back to let them know what's going on with my delivery and again I spoke with Regina who is not interested and gave me an attitude instead. I even made a comment to her how she doesn't seem to care. At this point I said I want to cancel the sale. She pretended like she didn't know what I meant which upset me even more. Then she said to me, if you want to cancel your purchase, give me a call so I can call and cancel your delivery. WTH. She can make a phone call to cancel my delivery but she can't call to inquire about my delivery for good customer service. You just lost a customer and possibly more customers. This is going to be posted on my Facebook my Tweeter acct and to my friends and family. Avoid this store.
Very expensive products...pretty sad that the first time I ever purchased something was after they go out of business and are at least 60% off...then they became cheaper then competitor prices. Employees were super nice and friendly tho :-
Went in to osh to get my patio screen rescreen, took them over a week to get it back. IT WAS NEVER DONE AS PROMISEDThis store is lack of communication, everyone is not on the same page here. I spoke to manager about complaint, seems like he didn't care. Took my screen elsewhere Southgate glass & screen, way cheaper then osh and got it back in 2 days top. Remember this phrase: " WITHOUT CUSTOMERS, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS" It's all about the Good customer service that drives customer to your store. Will be shopping at local hd instead for now on.
Love what this store does for the community. Just this month alone they hosted some awesome festival for kids for holloween. I was able to take my daughter to couple of the activities that they had organized over these weekends.
Going out of business sale looks to just about over. Store was well picked through. Kind of surprised though because for a clearance sale things still seemed awfully expensive. If those were there real pre going out of business prices, then in not surprised they went out of business. Too pricey.
It is sad that it is closing. But it is not surprising. Ultimately it became a dinosaur. Knowledgeablity of products was lacking. And often times, I would look for help, to no avail. I would come here often for hardware; as it is close to my home. However, I would then drive to Hone depot for better service. I dont think management cared.
Very bad customer service. Not even welcoming. Doesn't smile or offer to help the customers. Would never go there again. I rather go to Home Depot because at least they are welcoming.
