Our new favorite place! Everyone is so friendly, lots of activities for the kids, short walk to the river where we enjoyed tubing. The sites are not very big and be prepared for no bathhouse. Beautiful view of table rock and Cesar's head. Lots of waterfalls and 2 state parks nearby. We will def be back.Hotel highlightsKid-friendly
My family and I were on a 7 day trip and had this place booked for one night. We quickly decided to book another night and wished we had longer. The hosts Mr. Jerry, Mrs. Debra, Mr. Paul and Mrs. Kathy were some awesome people. I highly recommend staying here .Rooms: 5/5
Very quiet RV park. The hosts were very helpful. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. We have no complaints and we will return.Service: 5/5
Great location and excellent value! I would have given 5 stars if RV sites weren’t so close to each other. Also, watch out for rowdy bikers.
The gentleman who helped us was SO nice and welcoming even though we were late to check in. Great spot, but definitely follow directions on the Palmetto Cove website because the GPS will take you through a windy twisting road not suitable for big RV's. Rooms: 5/5
Great central location for a lot of fun things to do! Staff was super friendly and welcoming. So much to do nearby: Kayaked on Jocassee, also close to Lake Oolenoy. Drove to the observation tower on Sassafras Mountain one morning for a spectacular sunrise. Must be self contained as there are no shower facilities but provides full hookup and excellent wifi. Stay on rows B or D to face the mountains.
The sites are all full hookup, but are close to each other without any landscape buffer between them. Most sites are level, but some will require 6 or more inches of adjust, which wasn't expected since the while park is one big grass field. Need to be self contained since they have only 2 small bathrooms without showers. Staff is helpful but often hard to find them. Location is good, close to Table Rock State Park and great view of Cesar's Head State Park from most campsites.
We stayed here for a SC Good Sam rally. The sites were perfect for that! They are level full hook-up sites. The sewer, water and electric are all at the rear of your site. The oversized pavilion is full of rocking chairs, picnic tables and a nice fireplace! Be sure to visit Ceasars Head SP and/or Table Rock SP!
The friendliest members hands down! They have loads of tips for hiking, dining, biking and exploring!!! Best Wifi we've ever experienced in a campground! The river located at the back of the campground is a kids paradise age 7 & 10! They love catching minnows, frogs and tubing down the mini rapids!!! This place has been a perfect distance from Table Rock 12 monutes and Cesar's Head 20 minutes hiking! This place is truly something special!
This is a typical RV park with pads right next to each other and little shade. Sites are level and have full hookups but no showers. Campground boasts a laundry facility and a large pavilion but your dog WILL NOT be allowed in the pavilion even if there is no one there. The place is nice enough but I found the female camp hosts to be curt and unfriendly. Their main concern seemed to be talking to each other and did not go out of their way to make us feel welcome.
