PARISITE was chosen and named in 2012 by the volunteer construction crew for it's proximity to Paris Ave. The park began as most DIY parks do - unsanctioned. The non-profit TRANSITIONAL SPACES was formed to help PARISITE partner with other agencies such as New Orleans Recreation Department Commission, and Tulane City Center. We will be completing a large amount of work in Fall of 2014. Please stay tuned!
