What a great hidden gem in the heart of Rosemont. Stopped by Park Tavern for a late lunch / early dinner. Service was amazing and the food was even better. Started off with a couple of blue moons on tap. Huge selection of imported and domestic beer on tap! followed by some shrimp Brussels sprouts ands pretzel’s. Main course barley enough room was the Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese! That was out of this world. Parking lot says $15 to park but Park Tavern Validated the parking tickets before we left and parking was free! Wish we had more time to sit an enjoy. Plenty of TVs around, I’m sure watching a sports game here would be a blast. 5 stars
Service was quick and great, however, for the price, I expected something more from my meal. Although it wasn’t bad, it was far too generic for the price. I had the Fish and chips, the fish were so tiny and flavorless. The fries were good, crispy and crunchy, maybe a little too crunchy, but that’s a personal preference. Truthfully I would not recommend this place, pick some place else for your meal.
This place has really poor service. Good not up to par. Me and a friend came here for a quick bite to eat. We sat down and with little time to even pull up the menu on our phones we were asked if we were ready to eat. He has this face that he didn't want to serve us. And wasn't around enough to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere has this cozy tavern feel, like you're going to get a good rustic meal for a good price. HOWEVER, that was not the case. It felt lilt they turned a place that was once a good tavern into an upscale restaurant but kept the aesthetic. The food was still kind of disappointing. You order a sandwich and it literally is just the sandwich and a pile of fries on a plate. Drinks don't come with a price either on the menu. I wouldn't go back.
Stopped in to kill some time while waiting to pick up family from the airport and needed to get something to eat. Went with pastor street tacos and ultimate tater tots. The tots weren't bad. I enjoyed them, but it wasn't anything special. I was pleasantly surprised with the tacos...those were pretty spot on. The black beans and rice were pretty plain. I'm not out this way a lot, but this did look like a good place to meet up with some friends and have a couple of drinks.
Super nice bar that turns into a night club after 10pm. Music was a mix, from rnb to edm to latin. Not sure if they have the same DJ every time, but this one was good. Drinks are strong and all the bartenders are super kind. We got the cheese curds and they were delicious with the ranch and spicy marinara. Definitely recommend this place for a good time!
Really paying for location and ambiance. Maybe my chicken slice was the bad pick of the bunch, but for a $19 sandwich you'd really expect a nice hearty chicken breast, not this wafer thin cutlet. To be fair though they did discount my meal to compensate, but even still I can get a better chicken sandwich at any fast food joint for similar price.
It takes a special level of poor management to require and emphasize a 90 minute max table time and then follow that up with service so slow that we don’t get our food until 90 minutes. Not to mention dirty plates, wait staff not refilling drinks or asking if we want another round, etc. This might be the worst restaurant we’ve ever been to. And, the food was tasty, which makes it even more sad that the kitchen staff is being failed by everyone else.
Nice decor, high energy, inside & outside dining. Several of us, all had different items. Food was okay. Wait staff nice, but restaurant struggled a bit with orders, but not unusual these days. Would come back & try again though as looks like a fun place to hang with friends, sit at bar & enjoy their different beers.
Awesome food and ambiance! Everyone in my party of five had a different dish and all were amazing. The staff was great!
Amazing tavern!! I was in Chicago this week by myself and decided to go out for a drink and some food after my conference. I was a bit nervous being out alone in a new city but one of the managers Jesenia noticed I seemed shy and she made sure I felt right at home as soon as I walked in. We had the best time laughing and she made me the BEST drink- the Paper Plane. Loved it so much that I ordered several more haha. I also got the Chicken Caesar wrap, with a side of BBQ and Buffalo wings mmm I can still taste the amazing BBQ sauce haha Wings were so tasty that I ordered an extra order “to go” for a snack in my hotel that night lol. I’ve been to many taverns, but this one had great music, great energy, great drinks and the BEST staff. I also have to give a shout out to another manger- Jonathan. Not only was he engaging so well with all the customers and having fun making us drinks, he and Jesenia made sure I got into my Uber safely at the end of the night. I never had a manager or any staff offer to walk me out to my ride to make me feel comfortable and safe. That alone should be recognized, and I hope the owner sees this and gives those 2 some acknowledgement for how great they handle the tavern. I will definitely go back next time I’m in Chicago!
