Pepe's Mexican Restaurant - Woodridge, IL

$30 for shrimp fajitas and I only got 5 shrimp. They were good the flavor was good but I feel like 5 lil baby shrimp is a rip off for $30.Food: 1/5

The food was OKAY you have to dine in for it to be good while it’s semi warm. Service was so poor, their prices on menus are not correct and the servers were not coming to our table how they should have. It took us a hour to get 2 taco dinners, the chips tasted like they dropped em on a freshly dirty mopped floor…. mind you we was the only people there at the time but when others came the servers walked around more often…. Still didn’t check in on us. Oh yea and I wouldn’t recommend the steak tacos, they tasted like dirty grill.

Day time robbery. Menu prices are already highly priced and over that they ripped me off 25% more pointing out "prices are subject to change." Get this it's basically veggie quesadilla which is listed as 11.95 but they charged $14.95. We had brought 2. So they ripped us off $6/-. They charged salsa which they give free chips with $2/- without informing there is a charge for salsa and also for chile $1.45. Over that they added another 70 cents in administration fees. Stay away from this place. Never seen such a rip off. Only good thing was server was a very nice guy! Also, it didn't strike us another customer who came little later than us though she had the menu with her and was checking with the server before placing the order how much the items she was ordering and we thought it was bizarre. But then when the check was issued to us, I totally understood why she was asking for the prices of each of the item she was ordering? This restaurant has gone another level of low in scamming the customers.

So, we stumbled upon this restaurant while heading to Chicago and thought, "Why not give it a shot?" Their website claimed they'd be open till 11pm, which sounded good. We tacked on an extra 30-minute drive to our trip to make it happen. But when we finally got there, the lady, who seemed like the manager, told us they were shutting down at 10 pm. I let her know their website was outdated, and we'd gone out of our way because of the wrong info. Shockingly, she didn't even say sorry for the mix-up! Seriously, businesses like this with careless owners need to shape up or ship out!

Very nice, our waitress was very friendly and attentive server 1?. The food has changed a little bit in flavor, but it's good still. Vegetarian options: You can make many dishes vegetarian or vegan.

I've been eating at Pepe's for over 40 years! This restaurant had great service AND great food! Our server surprised us with cinnamon chips with whipped cream for my daughter's Birthday!Food: 5/5

Okay so I really like Pepe’s , their food is good and worth the price for the taste but today I placed a to go order over the phone I repeated the the lady onion rings like 8 times , I ordered 2 birrria tacos and the shish la bobs with well done steak , I open my order and instead of onion rings I get only onions … yes a container of onions , instead of birria tacos I got some wierd beef , my steak was rare , when I called to tell them she said she couldn’t do anything to call tomorrow before 5 , I called her again and asked if I can speak to a manager or frank the owner she said I already told you call tomorrow bye bye , what kind of service is that? SMH this whole thing made me loose my appetite
