Dr. Peters is the best dentist for any child. My children range from 2-14 yrs old. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere here is very welcoming and warm. Anyone who has a child with anxiety about dental visits would be very pleased as Dr. Peters gentle demeanor puts all at ease. He is very timely and efficient with each patient which helps to reduce any waiting or anxiety. Then office is extremely clean and all the staff take great care in providing excellent care.. I wish adult dental practices would provide the same great care.
I'd give 10 stars if I could. Visited for the first time with my special needs sin who has severe sensory issues with things/people being in or around his mouth and face. Dr Peters was able to patiently And adequately work through my son fighting him, get his teeth cleaned/flossed, and give great tips and tricks for us to best help our son without being judgemental or condescending of our needs. We will gladly be making the drive to their Charlottesville office for our sons appointments as the Waynesboro office absorbs into the Charlottesville office in the future.
Took my 2 year old son there for the first time to a dentist. The signage was not great and difficult to see, the only reason I found it was because my gps. The process of signing in was easy through a text service and they brought me right at our appt time. The dr was very friendly to me but did not speak to my son and seemed annoyed that he kept closing his mouth and did not understand to keep it open he’s only 2 I just expected a little different from a pediatric dentist. It was a very quick, almost assembly line like, 15 minute visit which with a toddler I am not complaining about overall I think I will take my son back as needed for check ups or concerns.
I have been taking all four of my children to Dr. Peters office for almost 3 years and I absolutely love him. He is great at what he does!! My children always have a wonderful experience at their dental check ups every 6 months. We never have long to wait in the lobby. Lorna who sits at the front desk greets us so nicely when we come in, and is so pleasant on the phone whenever I call! The office manager Shawn is also very cheerful and pleasent to speak with when scheduling follow up appointments. Each and every one of his dental assistants are also very knowledgeable and work very well with children. We appreciate everyone at Piedmont Pediatric Dentistry and I am so pleased to continue my children's dental care with them!! I highly recommend Dr. Peters and staff to families!
From the moment I walked into Dr. Peters’ office, his staff made me feel welcome and attended to. Dr. Peters provided excellent care, which is not something I say lightly because I have sensitive teeth and sometimes going to the dentist isn’t my favorite thing. Dr. Peters was professional, polite, and very patient, which, unfortunately, are not qualities shared by all doctors. Anyone looking for a good dentist for their child would do well to schedule with Dr Peters. He and his staff have created a very calm, comfortable environment perfect for young people. I left his office glad that there are still some good, talented people out there in this crazy health care industry we have!
We love Dr Barrett Peters! He is so kind and easy to discuss treatment options with. We have children with sensory processing disorders and these guys are great with them!! Thank you so much Piedmont Pediatric Dentistry !
We could not be happier with the care we have received at Piedmont Pediatric Dentistry. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and Dr. Peters and his staff have been very kind to my children and made them feel very comfortable. Dr. Peters is very accomplished in his field and he also has a great aptitude for working with children. We are all very happy here!
I would give Dr. Peters 10 stars if I could. I found him when looking for a second opinion regarding my two older children's teeth. From the very beginning of just calling his office my mind was completely at ease and I felt like he was going to take amazing care of my children. His staff are absolutely wonderful, they are so kind and warm and you can tell they really care about you and your children. Dr. Peters is so informative that I learned more from one visit with him on how to care for my children's teeth than in the four years of seeing our previous pediatric dentist. He has really treated my own children like his own. You can tell that he wants your child to have the best dental health possible and from visit one he mapped out a plan as to how we would achieve optimal dental health for my kids. He has been available to answer every question, taking the time needed to talk about each child. I am just so happy to have found Dr. Peters. He is such a wonderful dentist. My only regret is that I didn't seek a second opinion sooner and find him sooner. It only took one visit at Piedmont Dentistry to decide to let our now previous dentist go. I feel so confident taking my children to his office and having him care for their teeth. He has been available for two immediate emergency dental visits that my kids have needed. One of those visits falling on a day that his office was technically closed. He is a wonderful dentist, and I could not recommend him more! Thank you Dr. Peters!
We were beyond amazed by Dr. Peters and his staff! Dr. Peters had such a wonderful way of working with my daughter who has an emergency situation going on in her mouth! He made sure she understood everything he was doing, made it fun and not stressful at all! As a mother it was a blessing to see how at ease my child was in the chair! Thank you staff and dr. Peters!!! Look forward to the rest of our visits!
Recently took my 2 and 4 year old for their first visit. The staff was wonderful and our appointment was quick, efficient and painless. My kids thought it was a grand adventure from the cool sunglasses, to the balloon and gold coin for the prize machine. Piedmont turned a trip I was dreading into a happy memory for my kids. I have no doubt there will be no trepidation upon returning for their next visit.
