Humble, simple, well prepared food. I had brekky, 3 over easy, sausage and coffee. The service was a bit brusque and the atmosphere is sparse, but it was clean, inexpensive and hearty. I'll be back. Oh, and it's the first diner I've seen with a drive through.Food: 5/5
So I am a PK native. But for whatever reason I've only eaten here twice. And honestly I like this place and I love the idea of a drive thru at a diner. And I love the idea that we can order anything from breakfast items to dinner. The first time I ate from here I ordered wings and spicy curly fries. The curly fries were sadly soggy from the heat cuz that's what happens to fries when you do take out but the wings were good. And today I ordered the full stack combo with chocolate chips and I added turkey bacon and cheese on my eggs. And I was definitely satisfied.
Always good food. Pete and his wife are always nice. Highly recommend this restaurant. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Closing at 3pm.Food: 4/5

Breakfast joint in the middle of Poughkeepsie. Been hearing about this place for years and finally tried it. Amazing amount of food for the price. Cooked perfectly with bacon crispy, eggs over easy and corned beef hash. Only complaint is the drive thru. Breakfast took 20 minutes to come out with only 4 tables occupied. When I asked, the waitress told me about the drive thru. I like my breakfast fast, so I can get my day going! Otherwise a great stop

Not fancy looking but we’ll worth your time to stop by. Family staff which was friendly and helpful. Quick service. Food cooked exactly as asked in a generous portion. If I lived nearby Pete’s would definitely be my go to place.
Our first time going and it was AMAZING. The staff is so friendly and beyond helpful. Our waitress went out of her way to make my experience with all of my kids there as easy as possible. We felt welcomed. To top it off the food was incredible and affordable! It's hard for my family of 5 to all like what we ordered and every plate was almost clear! Highly highly recommend!!!
Breakfast was really good and so were the prices. Ordered a bacon, egg and cheese & a sunrise quesadilla. Definitely will order from here again.
