Philadelphia International Airport

Very smoothly run airport. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. I used the Parking Spot for off-site parking and took their shuttle into the departing terminal for my airline. Everything was running smoothly and the baggage check system worked quickly and efficiently. The staff at the airline check out were professional and helpful. Almost all of the TSA employees were much friendlier than previous experiences going through TSA. The process was also quick and easy to navigate. The information was conveyed clearly as to what they needed and what I should be doing to go through the security checkpoint. The signage for navigation throughout the terminal itself was clear. I was able to fill my empty water bottle once through the security checkpoint at a water filling station located by standard water fountains. There are plenty of eateries, impulse item shops, and stores that sell travel related items that might be of use, if you forgot to bring anything for your trip. My specific gate did not have any power outlets available for phone charging or any other mobile devices but the areas were clean and well run.

An airport showing its age. While efficient enough, this place is crowded, dirty, and horrifically inefficiently designed for boarding planes. The American lounge in terminal C is pretty nice though, as it’s newer. The bustling crowds average and neon signs new do little to detract from the claustrophobic halls and overall decaying vibe of the place. It’s not like you have a choice when flying to and from Philadelphia, but let’s hope the next decade has an upgrade in store here!

Hilarious that it gets 5 stars. I have had to fly out of Philly for decades. It’s disgusting, dirty and chaotic. I have traveled all over the world. You will not find a place more rude , more unfriendly and unpleasant and unprofessional. It’s just absolutely a rot of an airport and customer service.

Philadelphia's international airport is very well located and very close to the city, which is great for everyone arriving in the city. the airport is very beautiful, clean, all the employees are extremely polite, friendly and always willing to help. there are many convenience stores, clothing stores, good restaurants, the bathrooms are clean, there is parking with fair and accessible prices, facial access for wheelchair users, the queues to pass the X-ray are a little long and long, but this is normal in all airports across the United States, so I advise you to always arrive 2 hours before check-in to avoid flight inconveniences, in general it is a very beautiful airport that has several art exhibitions and it is very worth visiting the Philadelphia airport . I highly recommend 10/10.

Very busy airport , big and sparsely located between terminals. Food vendors are available at every corners , very convenient for travellers. For first time traveller is quiet easy to find connecting flight with information of flight display everywhere.

Easy-to-navigate airport. We had a late flight in and an early flight out. The security line was a little intimidating at first, but the line moved quickly. The ladies' restroom in the E-terminal definitely needed some attention but not the worst I've seen. I did like that there were plenty of choices of places to eat.

Clean and well maintained compared to the rest of philly. TSA can look daunting sometimes since most gates get funneled to the main point that can have a line going out to the garage. Normally even in that scenario it only takes about 20-30 mins to get through. Parking is a bit higher at $15 a day but most local hotels offer it for less than $10 so not a big deal for a short trip but definitely save money for the longer ones.

Decent airport overall. Fairly easy to get around, there's a good selection of places to eat and shop, and decent processes and service. We got through check-in and security in less than 30 minutes. I think it's improved in the recent years, however the experience in general really does depend on the specific airline you are with. The airport itself is decent; it could certainly improve in certain areas but it's a solid airport in general.

I have flown in and out of PHI a few times with no issues. I never had to go through security here though. There are several terminals so I usually have to take the shuttle between terminals. It's the end of July and the air conditioning works real well.

Airport was easily accessible , well maintained , timings were on spot. Security check in had huge line on Friday evenings. Food option after 9 pm was very limited inside terminal. Lot of parking options. Staffs are friendly and helpful. During business hours there are food option for shopping and food .
