Upon the recommendation of my primary care physician I called the practice. I requested for a doctor "SPECIFICALLY", the practice recommended Dr. Patel. Made an appointment - few days later when the practice called to confirm my appointment I was told Dr. Patel will not be working specifically at the time of my appointment I requested for another doctor - was recommended Dr. Perez changed the date happily of my appointment and time to meet Dr. Perez in person. Showed up to the practice on time only to find out Dr. Perez was not working at that hour and would not be at the practice for another 3 hours That is his weekly routine and I will be seen by a nurse practitioner nothing personally against her I bet she is very experienced but I requested for a doctor, changed my appointment based on the request of the practice. Online portal confirmed I had a appointment with a DOCTOR. Their text message confirmation for the appointment did not imply or inform my appointment had been changed without my approval and my request to see a doctor had been denied to a nurse practitioner but only found out when I was in the examination room - was not informed at the time of check in either. This is extremely misleading I am a patient and not a commodity. Now I have to look for a Doctor again and start my search from scratch for a care giver as appointments are hard to come by. But I refuse to settle as this is about my health and I refuse to be JUST a number as to how many patients walked through the door and what is their "QUARTERLY REVENUE" for Piedmont Healthcare Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Mooresville.

My symptoms have been dismissed for many years. Dr Klafty made me feel seen and heard. The blood work left questions to which is is persistent to find the answers. That alone brings some relief.

Dr Patel and staff are easy to talk to and makes everything understandable. He includes you in all the decisions made and encourages what’s best for your circumstance.
