We buy gently used teen and young adult style clothing and accessories that are name brands, cool, hip, trendy, clean and in good condition. With no appointment needed, we buy every day and will pay you on the spot! Most of our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 18/20 and guys sizes 28 to 40 waist, and we typically buy current styles that are still in the mall. Staff was friendly, store was mostly organized and fairly clean. Bought quite a few items clearance which was nice but staff mark items with a red marker and a nice white long sleeve shirt has a nasty red dot that shows threw. I asked at the cash register where I seen the dot and they told me it would wash out. Well it did not apparently they use a permanent marker. Most the cloths were dark enough or marked on the tag and didn’t bother me. I think they should think of something different to marking their clearance.
They were very rude when I walked in, acted like I was an inconvenience and then when I came in the next day the girl at the register would not honor my 10% off I earned by trading clothes in the day before...that is just inexcusable. It is people like me who bring in very good expensive clothes that keeps your business open and then you can't honor the coupon that I just received the day before? This is after being rude like you are working on Hollywood Boulevard and I was Julia Roberts in Pretty Women my God y'all there are a million jobs out there find a new one if you hate yours so much! The icing on the cake was when I was getting checked out by the same girl who would not honor my 10% coupon, I noticed she shorted me on my change. I handed her a $100 bill and she handed me a stack a bills, my 1st red flag. You should always count out a customer's change to them, especially if it is a bigger amount. Sure enough when I counted out the stack of money she handed me I noticed it was off, I asked her why did she did she hand me $71 back, if my total was only 21.76, and I handed you a $100? She acted stupid and said oh I'm sorry about that, took the stack of 71 and h ded me another stack of money, again not counting it out. I counted it again and this time she handed me $78. Either she cannot count or she was trying to pocket $6. This is exactly why I hate paying with cash anymore, this has happened to me before and little girls like her think I'm dumb or gullible. No ma'am, I am not and ya got caught! This store needs better management and just better all around ethical standards!
They were reluctant to take the merchandise that I had to sell them for the reason that they were too busy to receive anything for the next few days perhaps they were just not wanting to do the job but they were happy enough and courteous for the most part it seemed. I think it should improve on the next trip if I can sell my product this time and get the full intended use of this store.
Brought in cute trendy items i’m 19 and they took 3 name brand bags that were all over $20 when bought and i’ve never used them and a Lifeguard Hoodie which are not cheap barley used b/c i grew out of it and another item and gave me $15. They also didn’t even look at all of the clothes. The clothes that they were selling were also $10+ but 5 items for $15 almost brand new items? Rip Off
Went for a nice summer dress,left with an arm load of clothes! Great prices i even found brand new items ! I love thrifting. This store is a gem.
They didn’t even look through all the clothes. They wasted my time. Employees were much more interested about their boyfriend than the customers.
honestly? Not a very good store. It’s good if you want to go thrift for good prices but that’s if you can find something without stains or out of style.. also, when it comes to good customer service, nice and friendly customer service? It’s a no for me. Everyone there looks like they are miserable and just don’t want to be there and just aren’t very nice, and they take stuff with stains, and rips, or shoes that don’t even have laces yet all of my stuff either was name brand like express, timberland, old navy, aerie, even had a guess item in there, genuinely good quality clothing that they passed on … I feel like it really depends on who is looking at your stuff to determine if you’re going to get good money or not. I feel like they take what they think is cute, not what is in style.. yet some of the stuff that they have taken??? Not very in style and stained and nothing that our generation would wear.. so I think this store personally is not my favorite.. especially with the customer service.
I wish I could give them 0 stars. Probably one of the least organized plato’s i’ve been to. The staff has a serious communication problem and have attitudes. Don’t waste your time going to this location it’s worth driving to the other ones.
Not very impressed with them lately. I have name brand clothes practically new. They did not purchase them. While waiting for them to viewy items I looked around there clothes are from Walmart the shoes were dirty I asked why didn't they buy the girl stuttered trying to come up with something and she said we don't do animal prints I had 1 pair of pants no others it was sad. It's kinda sad. Definitely will not be shopping or selling to them again and definitely don't recommend them either. It's seems to me that friends of the workers come in and they hook them up by buying there clothes of them... Not saying that's what is going on but how else the unnamed brands are getting there
Everytime I go to take clothes they always tell me my clothes are no good even though they are ! Today I went to pick up clothes I dropped off to sell and an employee told me that a lot was worn down, but I saw she took a coat that actually was worn down I've had for years and not a nice faux leather jacket I've only had for barely 2 years. She also said that my dresses were too long and yes I had long dresses, but also other dresses that were too short on me because I'm tall; they should start taking that into account. Then she said my clothes weren't for teenagers to young adults up to 25. I'm 23 and I know I dress nice. Plato's needs to stop being so picky because I've seen some trashy clothes that look way older than anything I'd ever sell.
