Great customer service by postal officer Erik. Thank you so much Sir! He was kind enough to guide me through some cross country expedited shipping options… Small parking lot in front of the location. Also some street parking during certain hours on Washington Blvd.. A word of caution regarding listed hours. Google maps stated an 8am opening time, but that is not the case. I arrived at 8am, and the lot was locked closed. As of late summer 2022, the hours listed on the front door show the location open Monday through Friday 10am-5:30pm. I have submitted the correction to google. There may be a USPS location on Vermont opening at 8am on weekends. I would just recommend double checking the google map listing with the usps website. One note, they keep their priority and priority express hard envelopes behind the counter. Along with the address labels. I would recommend you ask a clerk for one; they are not out open in this location.
Young lady working alone. She was efficient, pleasant and very helpful. Line was about 5 or 6 people.
This is what a USPS office got, one point, that this place was unkind to a customer. I can't give more for what I had experienced at this post office.
yay it was busy, but we still got parking. kind of weird the only had one teller.
This has to be the worst post office I have ever been to. They are very unorganized and dirty. Nothing is in its place. Then when you ask for assistance the postal workers get an attitude as if you are offending them in some way by asking them to do their job. DO NOT COME HERE !
The USPS is struggling keeping an adequate work force. The workers are nice but the office typically has one window open, even at the beginning of of the month whichbis the busiest time. The lines are long, so be prepared to wait.
Horrible service. They basically have non of the modern day tools a lot of other post offices offer and the lady behind the desk is very rude. I simply wanted to ship out an item that I needed to pay for postage for. Told her I wanted to ship first class and the other post office prints out a label for me. She told me they don't have that. Rudely too.
This is my favorite USPS office in the area Washington & Norwood. I sell online so I am at any given post office 3x a week. The two female clerks that I normally see there are always friendly, helpful and attentive. The place is small, clean and usually not that crowded and the lines move fast unless they are short staffed. If you want good/great customer service come prepare and meet the staff half way, don't expect them to pack for you, tape, fill out forms or tell you what service is best, do some online research at USPS.com. Parking is limited but street parking is easily found. I drive 2 miles just to avoid the USPS on 43rd St. and Central, which is my home office but I rather walk out feeling good than mistreated
Impressed with service here. Staff are friendly and assist you to process your request right away. In comparison to some of the other offices, this one is managed and operated smoothly.
I love the Del Valle Post Office. It's nearly always less crowded than the main office at Dockweiler. The clerks--Veronica, Kathie, and Norma--are always pleasant to me. Maybe a patron below who says clerks there are grumpy caught them on an off day? Probably anyone could get a bit grumpy occasionally doing that work day in and day out. Patience! Kindness! I do agree with the patron who says the building and grounds could use a sprucing up. A fresh coat of paint and some flowers here and outside would really help. How about it USPS? Got some money in your budget for that?
