My experience with sharing a birthday celebration for a family member was awesome. The food and service were great. The meals arrived a little slower than expected being that the restaurant was not crowded, but we managed to make the most of it. My feel good moment for the day: I paid it forward by asking the balloon artist to make balloons for the guests behind my table I tipped her of course. The guests were so moved that they also paid it forward for another table. A great start for the new year. Kid-friendliness: My kiddos love this place. Parking: It's in the mall so they is plenty of parking close by.
This restaurant is amazing for kids, but even still, I love coming. The environment is immersive and unconventional, and I enjoy it quite a lot. Even better, the staff have some of the best manners and personality I've seen in a restaurant. Very professional yet inviting and welcoming. The food is alright, they have a wide selection. Certainly not the best, but I filled myself up. The atmosphere is arguably the best atmosphere of any restaurant, unless you go to Disneyland. The decorations are very nice and the place is very well kept. The only downside is the price, each adult meal averaging about $25. I imagine its cheaper if you bring your kids but it's a reasonable price for the service, atmosphere, and wide selection of food and beverages.
Experience with take-out: I went here because I had a $25 reward from Landry's. I saw the prices on the menu and was shocked that I wouldn't be able to get much with that money, so I was expecting to be disappointed especially after seeing reviews. However, I was actually quite impressed with the food! The pastalaya was really good and worth getting again! I also got the caribbean rice as a side. It was nice black beans in it, but nothing worth getting again. Cobb salad was pretty good. I went back another time with another $25 voucher and got the fish tacos and they were SO good! Once again I was very impressed! We also got a kid's meal with cheeseburger sliders, but nothing too impressive about them.
The place is beautiful. Just a perfect place for a birthday party. For kids and adults. The food is great. If you want to be a child again it's a place to celebrate your birthday. They have people going around doing balloons for children.The drinks are also well decorated and their cups are amazing.
The service was great. We had been seated for a while before the manager came over and apologized that we didn't have a server so she took our order and comped us our dinner salads and an appetizer. The food was good. It's been a few years since I have been there. I definitely will be going back. Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family / kid friendly restaurant. A lot of families there with young children.
Steak fajits serve small amt. And cost was 30 bucks, but I think the steak was good quality, tasty. The Hamburger and fries were delicious the thunder and moving of the jungle animals was a great experience.
The overall ambiance is what you're really going for when coming to a place like this. Its a great place to enjoy with the kiddos! As for food and wuality of service I'd say its average nothing special. Bit on the pricey side but thats expected due to the ambiance. The service is what got me. We booked ahead and planned for our luncheon for our kids graduation with some friends. The table took 15mins after the fact. It was not quite ready but the kicker is that it took almost 1hr to take our order. We had been there nearly a full hour before the food came out. 40 minutes in before our actual order was taken and the gentleman/server was very direct. Not very friendly and seemed like he was not having a good day. Whats important is the kids had fun... Food 7/10 Quality 8/10 Service 5/10 Price $$$
Chose a special place to have lunch with my daughter while she was visiting SOCal. Happy was a great waitress and food was excellent. Yes, that's her name. I'm going to sign up for their membership so I can take advantage of priority seating. I'll be back soon.
Went here for lunch and had a wonderful experience! It is located inside the Ontario Mills Mall. They open at 11am, we had a reservation at 1130am which it was not busy at all. Once noon hit it the restaurant filled up! Our jungle guide, Hailey, was very nice and attentive. They had boosters and high chairs for our kids. I was nervous our food was not going to be the best given some recent reviews, but our food came out quick, hot, and delicious!! Creole Mac and Cheese, Rainforest Burger, and kid's Shrimpken meals were all delicious and very fair portion sizes. We also enjoyed the volcano dessert! We did have to leave our stroller by the hostess stand since our baby is big enough to sit in a high chair. I saw others with infants that were allowed to bring their stroller to their tables.
I'll start the review off by saying that Louis is a rockstar! He was not even our waiter but helped out over and over again, bringing us drinks and taking our order even when he wasn't supposed to. The waiter that was assigned to us rhymes with Pat and start with "M" forgot about us for the first 20 minutes and we never saw him until our orders have been taken by Louis . After that he came by to drop off the check and that was about it. Not sure what his problem was but I'm 90% sure he was intoxicated as there was a powerful smell of alcohol. The food is great, the ambiance was fantastic but if it wasn't for Louis this would probably have a two-star rating because all of that was overwhelmed by our poor service.
