Really nice playground big area to play for multiple ages. It's like ninja warrior style for kids. All the materials here, even though it was a hot day, was surprisingly cool to the touch. Pretty well maintained and lots of beautiful views around the water. Also nice picnic area and dog friendly.
A spectacular parcel of land, It's underutilized and underdeveloped which is not necessarily a bad thing. Grass, pavilion , bathrooms, playground and water launch are well maintained. Better maintenance of vegetation along the river bank would improve the views and cooling breeze from the east. A dock and additional family sized pavilions amongst the oaks would attract more visitors.
This was a lovely park but better for bigger kids, theres not really anything for toddlers but swings. My climber really loved this park! It has a lot of things to climb. It has covered picnic tables and we went on a sat morning when the farmers market was there so we cooled down with some fresh made lemonaide.
Loved this park. Kids enjoyed the jungle gym and meeting new kids. Mom and Dad road our bikes around the park with the 1 yr old while they played. There's a nice view of the river with a bench to sit right down the road.
Beautiful park in a lovely, photogenic area. They have a great walking trail. It's not flat. An updated and inviting playground with everything a young child could want. Several pavilions for sitting or eating. I didn't use the bathroom facilities, so I have no comment regarding them. They have a Farmer's market every other Saturday. It was my first time there and it was for the annual Mayor's Fitness Challenge
Picked up a virtual Geocache here. Great story about the 4 clergymen that gave up their life jackets as a WW11 transport ship sank near Greenland.
beautiful view, they have bathrooms, giant pavilion, power outlets for charging devices, and parking for boats. there's a playground and benches for seating. overall good option for a park. going here is more fun than watching a woke movie at the theatres. hope this is helpful for your decision making.
Beautiful Indian River Lagoon Park in Melbourne Florida “Riverview Park”. Family and dog friendly. A weekly Farmers Market every Saturday 10-3 Downtown Melbourne Farmer’s Market At Riverview Park, Produce, food, crafts, playground, pavilion covered tables.
Went to the Farmers Market and was not what I expected. One small produce stand, a few craft vendors and honey tables. In total about 10 vendors. Maybe this is a new concept for this town.
This is a real nice waterfront park to bring the family. It is clean, safe, kid and pet friendly. Plenty of jungle gyms for the kids to play on and pavillions for picnics. Every First and Third Saturday of the month they have a great farmers market. Lots of craft and artisan booths and a few food trucks as well. Make this park a spot on your weekend fun list for sure.
