very bad customer service the cashier treated us as if we were trying to steal something many of the items were priceless and when you ask the employees they get angry they give you a price and when you get to the cashier they change it, the store is a disaster there is no space to walk and there are dirty clothes on the shelves the manager was very rude and her treatment was racist very disappointed in the visit to that store I will never return!
I been a regular customer since 2010 But my god the prices is getting crazy at that place I mean it’s way cheaper to buy a Nike T-shirt or hoodie from Nike store than buy it from Gabe’s Everything is overpriced I mean everything
I've been shopping here for a right over 20 years. It used to be called Rugged Warehouse. You can find some cheap stuff that is extremely cute. Be prepared to dig. Everything from toddler to men and women plus size and jr. Accessories, candles and homewares even stuff for the pets.
I always find a treasure here. Staff is friendly and the bargains plentiful.
The place was unorganized and a mess. Many of the other had food or stains on them. There were NO MIRRORS AT ALL so you couldn't even hold the items up to you to see if you liked them or not. Do better.
I’m pretty sure this is a consignment shop compared to the other Gabes I have been to. And the woman with no hair at the front spent 20 minutes telling a customer her cosmetologist information. Took forever to check out in line.
I'm from the Hickory area, so our store is a bit smaller and doesn't have a variety of clothing as this location does. I'm glad I stopped by and checked it out because I had gotten $65 worth of clothing that I wouldn't be able to get in the hickory location. Organization could be a little better, but I ignored it as they were super busy as well.
I would love to shop here but the store is so messy. Nothing is in any kind of order even though racks are labeled by sizes. They are all mixed up. They should close for a week and just organize the store. Customers would be able to shop easier and staff would have an easier time stocking items and keeping up with things. They have great prices, just not enough time in the day to look thru racks and racks to find sizes.
They said they don’t have a bathroom for my child to use, she is 5. We are in here to spend money we should be able to do so comfortably! Had to leave the store and walk 2 stores down! I like the inventory though good prices! If y’all see this Gabes a bathroom is NECESSARY!
I visited a Gabe's in Pineville 2 weeks ago and found it to be clean, organized with some of the latest styles in clothes and shoes. This time I visited the one on Independence Blvd in Charlotte and there was a stark difference in stores. The store was crowded and not tidy or as well organized. Shoes were not as stylish nor were there as many name brands. I did not stay long or purchase anything.
