Absolutely impressed. Clean, amenities lovely, price so reasonable, pool heated! People working there friendly! Basketball court, playground, game room, cute store , propane. Only things I could see a person complain about are: Off the hey so noise of cars driving. Didn’t bother me at all. No grease at sites however there’s a dog walk trail and a dog park. Will star here again. 5/5 great place so impressed. Will be back!
We were greeted warmly upon our arrival. They gave us cookies and a dog biscuit for our pup. When our plans had to change they graciously gave us a refund for the nights we had reserved. While doing laundry in the very clean laundry room, they shared the potluck supper which was for employees. Very kind hosts. Definitely recommend.
November 5-7. Conveniently located off the 101 however is a sharp turn and steep hill to get in to this KOA. There are up and down hills and there spots are very tight and close together. Some of the back-in spots the black top has so many digs in it from rvs scraping to back in. When leaving there was a pot hole around speed bump which we scraped going out . Other than that they have nice bathrooms, showerswith some pressureand nice reasonable laundry prices. A nice dog walk area. We would not stay here again because of tight spaces and hills in and out
We stayed 3/17/22-3/18/22. We were supposed to stay a week. We stayed one night and immediately left the next morning. When we arrived we found that the place is really just a tiered all asphalt parking lot. It is also a really tight fit. We have a 40 foot class A and we had to be very careful parking. There is no sense of security at all. There are gaps in the fence that go straight out to a very noisy highway and gas station. Lots of homeless people around the gas station near by who can just meander through the park whenever they want and when you have bicycles/kayaks etc… you just don’t feel like you can leave them even if they are locked up. I will say that the staff was very nice however I would never recommend this park to someone.
*Lady in the office was really nice *Not happy prices are the same during the week as the weekend. *RV Spaces are tight. We had to unhook to fit. *Noisy highway behind us. *Was convenient 45 min away from Santa Cruz and 25 minutes from Monterey. Prices further in are MUCH more expensive. *Overall experience 4/5. *Would probably come back.
We stayed at this KOA this past weekend with only a couple days notice and despite reading some negative reviews. My take on this KOA is that yes the property itself is not your usually in the woods with lots of trees and space type of KOA. Seriously though you're less than 30 mins away from Monterey and Santa Cruz! And for price a 1/3 of what others are charging in the area you can't beat it! Restroom/showers were clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly.. received warm cookies and a pup treat upon arrival! Neighbors were very friendly and peaceful! I'd definitely stay here again when I'm back in Cali!
John the grounds keeper was nice enough to leave us a lighter for the BBQ. Very pleasant! We love every time we visit here. We feel so at home at this hidden gem!
Testing the new Scamp 19’. Quiet KOA. Full hookup, no issues. Store was open from 9am-5pm. Game room open until 9pm, and has pool, ping pong, foosball, and smaller games. Showers and restroom onsite access code required. Chevron across the street. Shopping center a few minutes away.
Brooke was spectacular the entire staff was awesome. The grounds were clean close enough proximity to alot of things. I will definitely will be staying there again!!!!!
Great location, clean, and basic. Shower could use an update, the parking was a bit tight other guest knocked on our door at 11:00 pm after we were already in bed and asked us to move our car more over so they could fit...which was odd because we thought we were in the correct spot with no lines to guide us, and we were asked to take our own trash out and wash our dishes at the end of our stay to get our deposit back. We obviously did not use the dishes after being told that because we don't know if the previous guest really washed them or put them back up there. $170.00 a night for a one bedroom "cabin" and then clean up after ourselves...hhhhmmm....but it was clean, good location, swimming pool was nice, and the owners were nice.
