From an early age, Dr. Venkat Gutta knew he wanted to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them. He relocated from India to the United States to receive training at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. With a Master’s degree in animal science, he became licensed to practice in Florida. For more than ten years, he has been helping companion animals in the Jacksonville and San Marco, FL area live longer, happier, healthier lives, by providing affordable care to pet owners. Dr. Gutta practices with a focus on prevention, supplying education and instruction to help pet owners avoid problems. He performs routine care as well as surgical procedures, emergency treatment, dental services, and advanced diagnostics at San Marco Animal Hospital. He takes special interest in caring for senior pets, canine and feline behavioral issues, and providing nutritional counseling for optimal pet health.
