I ordered a cappuccino with caramel and almond milk. To enjoy the foam, I ask for a mug instead of a to go cup. The coffee here is awesome, and the chicken pesto is a great lunch item. If you have time to spare, play a round of checkers at the checkers table! Parking: Plenty of parking right next to the café or on the street near by. Wheelchair accessibility: Flooring all one level and a spacious bathroom.
about the average local cafe, good quality and about the prices you would expect. the furniture was an interesting choice but not in a bad way, I can see the appeal of the couches. the decor was like that of a middle-aged white woman's house think Hobby Lobby, but the front wall being garage doors rather than a plain wall make a nice atmosphere. I can't say I particularly enjoyed the music playing but it was clearly one of the workers' playlists so I think they should be allowed to play whatever they want, even if it is an Ed Sheeran song. I got a smoothie and I will say it was one of the better smoothies that I've had from a coffee establishment. rather than being watery, it was a nice thick texture; I would get it again. I went with another person who got one of the sandwiches, which looked good. I also ended up getting a muffin, which also had a good texture. almost everything on the menu is $4–7, other than the cookies/muffins which are $1–3 from what I remember. you'll probably spend $10–15 if you want food along with your drink, but I'd say it's worth it. Parking: Parking lot right outside and street parking nearby, though they probably get full when it's more busy.
I drank the gingerbread mocha, it was delicious and the perfect temperature. I ate the croissant sausage & mozzarella sandwich, that was also amazing. Not sure what the issue was today but during my experience here it took 40 minutes to order. The best part was the kind attitudes and helpfulness of the ladies working.Food: 4/5

This place has great coffee, a great atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s our new favorite coffee shop! They even have a kids table and some board games. Our kids love the hot chocolate. I love the Park Avenue, Winter Chai and the iced tea. I do hope they have later hours in the future on Saturdays but I know they just opened and those things take time to build up. Looking forward to trying the food.

Everyone here is always so friendly and welcoming, always in a good mood and everything is DELISH! Highly recommend checking it out. It’s the perfect little coffee hangout to sit and do some work. They even have board games available A fair share of coffee places have come through this location and all have been wonderful, this one included! I’m so glad sandstone coffee house is keeping up with the tradition and giving Amherst a cute and quaint little coffee place. Vegetarian options: Muffins and pastries, basic lunch sandwiches like a grilled cheese/pesto grilled cheese, bagels, egg and cheese, soup Dietary restrictions: Non dairy options available, soy oat and coconut milks Parking: Huge parking lot right outside Kid-friendliness: Kids table, drinks and board games available
I cannot speak for the food because I only had a smoothie. It was delicious. This shop is AMBIENCE! I saw teenagers playing Uno, parents with children, and a woman with a puppy in a stroller. Great gathering place. Kid-friendliness: It works as a place for all.
The atmosphere is pleasant. We had an egg muffin. The egg was very brown. I ate mine and I tasted the brown, not good. My friend had them redo it and it was about just as brown. Please improve the eggs.Service: 4/5
