Great park and connected to the bike path
One star for the attempt to call this small unkempt space of brick and stone a park. It's legitimately the backside entrance to Davis station, so, kind of more of a display of art than an actual park. If it were to be called a park I'd be extremely disappointed and go elsewhere for my dose of park and recreation.
Particularly enjoy the statues and cultural part of the park which seems to host artistic activities.
It's a very lovely park, with statuary, and monuments that to note the seven hills around Somerville. Stores and shopping is around, nice restaurants and pizza shops. I gave a earlier post about seven hills Park. But, did not mention the eateries and other things around the park.
Great park but don’t you know meeeee!!!!!!!!
I went for a walk the other night along the bike path. Picked it up at the Mass Ave crossing into Davis Square. Walking and playing my harp and came to what is called Seven Hills Park along side the 'T' red line station, hung-out about an hour or so playing away, don't get me wrong I'm no professional player but I enjoy music, I'm going to continue practicing and playing until I no longer can.The park is small only walled off sections with grass areas for exercise and other activities. No rest rooms, no vendors, it's ok I won't plan a pic- nic but I'd eat my lunch there and people watch.
Nice little green area. There are small concerts and fairs held here. In the summer there are public chairs to sit and relax in. During real early or late hours some sketchy people sometimes hang around.
Its good park
A great little park straddling the Community Path on the west side of Davis Square. Frequently used by local groups and the city of Somerville itself e.g. they're screening a movie tonight. Only complaint- they lighting is a little lacking at night. Especially around the human-sized statues which are terrifying even when you walk past them every night and know they're there.
Calling this a park is giving it waaaaay too much credit. It's a path and a sliver of greenspace. You're more likely to pass through it than go to it, though it is big enough for them to set up a stage a few times a year for events.
