One of the best places to stay. Stayed here for 4 days. It fit our 42’ easily on the creek. It was so nice being able to look out and hear the irrigation creek running at night. Only bad I have is they only have 30 amp hook ups so we couldn’t run both AC units.Rooms: 5/5
Older rv park in the middle of town. Great location to access Applefest. Walkability: Within walking distance of the main attractions in Cedaredge.
Very quiet and extremely clean. Friendly people and staff, would stay here again for sure.Service: 5/5
This place always makes me smile as I drive by- especially around christmas time! So welcoming, and Cathy is such an incredible person!
We were only in town for a couple nights during the summer. While it's a small park, it's very beautiful and they had a spot that suited our needs. Seemed like most folks were there for the summer so you could have issues geting a spot during peak season. But the owners were so nice and it really was a great place to stay. All the shade is greatly appreciated in the summer! Great location to set up base camp to explore the western slope.
It was a great place to stay would recommend it to everyone. Plan ahead as since there are not many spots in the rv campground it can be difficult to find room. Of course we thank Kathie for ask the attentions in our stay. The Grand Mesa national forest is about 20 minutes away. The views are amazing... very recommended to visit them
Great Family owned and operated RV Park, that has great shade trees and the little creek behind the park was full and flowing! Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, after a long day of exploring and hiking this is the place to come and relax and take it all in. The place is perfect Cathy and Michael have a pristine park!Rooms: 4/5
Beautiful little campground in an idyllic setting. We were camped creekside and watched the deer in the meadow come to drink in the creek. Very quiet and a wonderful experience. Owners were super friendly. We will definitely stay here again.Location: 5/5
A little piece of heaven yet right in town. We usually stay several months at a time due to our employment so we are pretty picky about where we stay. If we feel our RV hosts let in too much riff raff, we look for another place. Well, this place is a keeper! If you see any bad reviews on here it's likely that the people doing the review were rude and crude. The owners are the managers and their home is on the property. They don't want losers here. They don't want lawbreakers here. So if you get booted from Shady Creek, it's because you were not welcome. Those of us long term campers understand this completely. It's so hard to find a place to call home for a summer. This is one place we will keep coming back to if we are in the area. Hands down the best place we've ever stayed.
We spent 4 days exploring Grand Mesa and The Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The park was super convenient and Michael and Cathy were the most friendly hosts we have ever met! We would certainly stay there again!Location: 5/5
