The libraries provide award-winning research and instructional services, a myriad of multimedia content creation space,and house internationally recognized archives and special collections.
Northeastern University Libraries consists of Snell Library, John D. O’Bryant African-American Institute Library, and Marine Science Center Library. The libraries welcome over two million online and walk-in visitors a year. Collections include 964,000 volumes, 139,000 e-books, and 42,500 electronic journals.
The Library supports the mission of the University by working in partnership with the University community to develop and disseminate new scholarship. The Library fosters intellectual and profession growth, enriches the research, teaching and learning environment, and promotes the effective use knowledge by managing and delivering information resources and services to library users.
