Nice place to live! BUT, management leaves a lot to be desired! The background check is a joke! It’s $50.00 in management’s pocket! They expect YOU to do their job!! YOU have to prove any discrepancies! I thought that was their job?!?! Himmm…..

On our 2nd winter here in Spanish Lakes Mobile Home Park in Nokomis Fla. We needed a break from NY winters for 4 months. This Mobile Home Park is one of the best with such close proximity to Nokomis beach, Legacy 25 mile rail trail 2 blocks away, where we love biking. Also lots of nearby shopping and 15 minutes to the sweet town of Venice where there are also great beaches. We love our turn key newly renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home in the pet section with a private backyard. Also the community offers a large heated pool, Bocce, Shuffle Board & other activities with a large renovated clubhouse with an industrial kitchen, small gym which needs updating, library, ping pong & Pool table. The only thing lacking is a Pickle board court. We love the easy maintenance and low HOV fee which includes taxes, garbage pick up, lawn mowed, water & basic cable. What more does a person need? The only negative I have is the entrance. The sign needs to be bigger and Landscaping with some large trees would make a huge difference. The entrance does not give a nice presentation driving in.
My parents, who both have passed away since Christmas, within a week of each other, lived at Spanish Lakes for many years until a year and a half ago when they moved to Sarasota. I drove through today just to reminisce a little. My most cherished memories, as an adult, were the times I visited them. We never missed Bingo, played shuffle board and spent a lot of time in the pool saying to my parents "watch this Mom, look at me Dad" just like we did when we were kids. They loved living there and we loved visiting.
A great place to live. Wonderful clubhouse.
Spanish lakes mobile home park Is a nice place to have a second home to just get away for the weekend or a week you are right here Near Venice and all the beautiful beaches along the Gulf of Mexico so I would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay check out Spanish lakes mobile home park.
The entrance has overgrowth on both sides. Empty lots probably owned by the city. The park itself seems well kept for an older park.
Best place for my inlaws. Everyone is so nice and it's close to everything
This is usually a great place to live but because of the virus everything but the pool are all closed down.
