Amazing workout. With everyday different it’s a new and refreshing workout every time I go. I love how the classes track you but don’t feel competitive. The vibe and collaboration are a great way to stay motivated too. Instructors are always ensuring my form is ok which is great as I’ve been injured at other studios where instructor does not notice. Love it here.
SPENGA is the best workout for you, it’s everything you need. Not only do I feel stronger physically working out here but mentally as well. Thanks to the awesome trainers who push me to work harder, the loud music that motivates me, and the beautiful studio that makes me want to stay. Try a workout here, I promise it will change you!
Today I Celebrate my one year at SPENGA Elmhurst! One year ago today I took a chance on trying something I had never heard of before. Michelle invited me to a class, I really didn’t even know what she invited me to, other than something about a session at this gym across the street from a wine place we love. It took me one class & I signed up. Let me tell you it wasn’t because it was easy, but because of the way I felt after taking that session. I felt strong, I felt alive and most of all I felt happy. Each session at SPENGA is an hour long. 20mins of Spin ‍, 20mins of Strength & 20mins of Yoga. Everyday I walk into SPENGA I am always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. I find myself planning my days around my session times and after every class I always leave feeling amazing and stronger. Over the past year at SPENGA Elmhurst I’ve gotten the chance to take many of the instructor’s sessions. Each one different in their own ways. But not one has ever left me disappointed. If you haven’t given SPENGA a try yet I highly recommend giving it a try.
I definitely recommend anyone to come give Spenga a try. It is a hour long class consisting of 20 mins of spin, 20 mins of Weight Strengthening & 20mins of yoga. The classes are 24 people or less, So it feels like you have your own personal trainer. When I tried Spenga I hadn't worked out in forever and had been wanting to start again. I used to be a swimmer and once I hurt my shoulder I Stopped swimming competitively. The best part about Spenga that kept bringing me back was the diversity of people working out. I was the most out of shape I had ever been when I started February 20th and I was embarrassed and afraid of being fat shamed. But at Spenga they make you feel welcomed and are always encouraging us to make that change for ourselves. As the Weeks continued my confidence in class was building and I noticed I could go faster on the bikes while standing or I could use those heavier weights during reps and my balance & flexibility in yoga was improving. Each instructor always watches everyones posture and helps with any adjustments or modifications needed. Ive been in Michelle's, Mallory's, Beth's, Carrie's, Nicole's, Jamie's, Liz's, Erin C's, Lesli's, and Nicole M's Classes. And let me say not one has disappointed. I Always leave a class feeling proud and happy I took that hour for myself. Im truly hooked on Spenga and I love being apart of Spenga. I currently go at least 5 times a week. Im Also proud to say that I lost 15 lbs in the last two months. Another bonus is the kids room during certain classes.
Ugh. I adore this place. I bought the 14 for $14 deal but sadly won't be renewing my membership because I need a location in the city of Chicago. Classes are challenging, instructors are amazing, and the facility couldn't be cleaner. I look forward to more locations opening with later hours. If you're in Elmhurst or the surrounding suburbs, I hope you get a membership. You will see positive physical and mental changes!
Love this place. Classes and instructors are fabulous. They get me motivated and I am seeing a difference after just a few classes. One hour clads = 20 min cycle, 20 min weights, 20 min yoga.
Love this place! If you’ve never tried SPENGA you must and I promise you will LOVE it. It’s a perfect combo of 20 minutes of Spin, 20 minutes of Strength, and 20 minutes of Yoga.
I’ve been going this spenga location since August. I’m almost on my 100th class and I see so much of a difference in my strength. I recommend Spenga to anyone who wants to get a good sweat in! All the instructors are great!
Do you find yourself reflecting upon your life and asking; Am I living my best life? Look up there schedule, and just sign up for any class that fits your schedule. Cause guess what, first class is free. I go on tuesdays, 630-730 cause, on tuesdays I rep #TeamMallory and we are gosh dang Gladiators. And you can be onetoo all it takes is one FREE session.
