Hello and Welcome to my practice. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Mental Health Therapist with 20 years of experience working with adults, children, adolescents and families. My therapeutic style varies depending on the age, gender and problem areas presented. I believe in an eclectic approach that incorporates the use of cognitive- behavioral, strength based, client-centered, trauma informed care and family therapy techniques. It is important to accurately assess a client's needs in order to provide effective treatment. I believe that engaging and building trust is imperative for clients to feel safe and comfortable sharing their feelings.
I have extensive experience working with children/adolescents and families. I have worked in outpatient, residential and school settings. In addition, I have worked in various settings with clients involved with probation and child protective services.
I earned a BA in Psychology from Indiana University in 1991, Masters in Social Work from Indiana University in 1996 and obtained my License in Clinical Social Work in 1999.
