I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was lovely, and the food and service were outstanding. We had the pleasure of bringing our furry friend along, and we enjoyed the patio seating. Although I must deduct one star and give it a rating of four stars instead of five, it was solely due to the extended wait time of approximately one hour for our food. However, the server excelled in keeping us informed about the delay, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Pros: +friendly and helpful staff! +food is really good!! +wide drink selection!!! +plenty of space & outdoor area!!!! +sports if you're into that  Cons: -I'm not a sports watching girlie so the atmosphere isn't my type -tap wall might be messy if you can't pour like a civilized human being -these are all dumb Cons so maybe just visit and see for yourself?  Shoutout to the bartender Deanna who is very sweet and willing to answer questions  Parking: Designayed parking on side of building, some parking out front on the street, and another lot of the other side of the skrip-club probably not for this business but it works for parking I guess

Great place to hang out. I liked the pour your own idea. Could try a lot of things that way. Ordered Reuben tots and chicken bacon ranch tots that were both really good. Would visit againFood: 5/5

This place is awesome. Got some amazing chicken tenders here and a delicious Mac and cheese. Liked it so much I came back another day and got a cheeseburger. I love everything about this place. It's reasonably priced, and has great food and an even better selection of different drinks. You get to choose the amount of drink you get, and prices are shown on the taps. Great server!  Gave us good advice on food.  Reuben tots and cauliflower bites...both were fantastic.  The beer is a pay by ounce self service bar.  Gave us the opportunity to try lots of different types.  Parking: Close to restaurant and plentiful spots

Only stopped in to pass the time, but the appetizers were great. Got the cheese curds, fried brussel sprouts, and spicy fried cauliflower. Did not disappoint at all. The pour your own beer wall was an awesome experience that needs to be tried at least once.  Kid-friendliness: Yes, this is basically a bar, but children can come in and eat

Really bad experience due to our waitress. She was annoyed and unpleasant most of the encounter. She also tried to default the ticket to a 25% tip. Luckily I caught it and had to go back a screen to set to a more appropriate 20%. Not sure why she got snippy with our group but I was not a fan.  Also the food was meh and the taps offerings lackluster. Lots of broken or unused taps.  Definitely not the place it once was. Hope they can get back on track.

This is a great place for beer. I'm a big sour fan and their selection of sours is limited, but there's always a couple.  The atmosphere during the day before 5p is comfortable and chill. The evening crowd is a little different, and I would recommend that you try it during the day before you try it in the evening. You will like it better.  Pay close attention to the ABV on the beers because they like to put beers out that are 6% or higher. I don't mind those some of the time, but if I'm going to drink more beer I prefer to be 5% or less.  This place is well worth your time and a must stop beer place in Kansas City.

If you haven’t stopped into Taps you’re truly missing out and need to correct that immediately! Just stopped into this amazing establishment on Monday and was greeted with superb service. The facility itself was extremely clean all staff in mask and were very attentive. To my surprise I had the incredible opportunity to meet the owner himself Grant! Really down to earth, cares for his patrons and open minded about what’s happening in the world today along with how he and his staff are handling it. To close out this review I was introduced to a new addition to the menu that luckily I was the first to try, the “Philly Tots”!!! It brought the best of both worlds in breakfast to a lunch sandwich fashion in a bowl. No bun necessary, the philly steak with bell peppers and mushrooms perfectly made, place that on top of the tots for the crunch and wow, finally topping that for the finish with cheesy goodness and I’m in heaven! Again if you haven’t stopped in yet you should!!!!! Also get there famous chicken dip it’s amazingly mouth watering!!

I think this may be our new beer spot! Great patio, huge selection of beer, service was on point, helpful and he explained everything on the process of pouring our own beers. Food was good too! We visited on 5/10/21 in the evening. Update: We’ve returned twice since 5/10 and ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich super greasy, over cooked, dried out and just gross on one visit and the Philly sandwich very dry/plain despite adding all toppings and extra cheese on another...both were sadly horrible. Stick to the pretzels and sliders! Beer and service has been great each visit! Changing 5 stars to 4 due to food/kitchen. Kitchen staff needs to step it up! FOH, is great!
