Clean and pleasant shopping experience. All aisles well lit and stocked.  Employees are friendly and helpful.

PLEASE READ service here was horrid a complete nightmare. It took them 6 months for me to get a pair of contacts after repeated trial context that were wrong that did not even fit my prescription. I had to continuously go back to the store to get it right. Reorder the next pair which was still wrong. After everything was done and over with after calling corporate they got their act together to some degree.  I dealt with the manager there. Riva. She was very snippety and disrespectful and I know that's not appropriate. I work in sales and customer service and it was just very distasteful. Long story short after finally figuring out my new contacts. My left eye never changed from the years prior Right air I slightly change but do you know I kept going back and they said the contacts are not available to order So I set for a good 3 weeks without context. Checking in with them to find out if they were available and yet they still say no. The distributor don't have any.  Out of curiosity, I went to the Target optical in Columbia and the gentleman told me as we ordered the contacts together from another store. Long story short, some people really need to consider that jobs before they take it. It's just really bad ethics and bad customer service. I currently have my contacts that I was supposed to receive months ago No thank you to the originating Target optical center in Ellicott City where I went. I will never go there again and if I were you I would not as well.

The target pickup service that was started during the pandemic is usually a very pleasant experience. In Ellicott City they moved the area for pickup with no signage and no notification. They really need to make sure that the signs are better and the signs in the old areas are removed so people don't wait there and expect to find parking and waiting spots.

I frequent this Target store often and have noticed a downturn in customer service. Employees seem to ignore the customers. When I asked why to an employee, they said that they get reprimanded for talking to a customer too long or for helping find items in departments they are not assigned. Tell me this isn’t true. I would surely expect that customer training isn’t taught this way. Why would you force employees to restrict customer services during holiday shopping times?  Are you trying to lose business? Major companies have disappeared completely by using these tactics.

I ordered my curbside pickup because it said it will be ready in 2 hours. From 4 pm till 8:20 something now and  it’s still not ready. I came to the store to see if it’s ready, the person I’m speaking with is like laughing while I’m asking when it will be ready. I specifically picked an earlier time so I wouldn’t have to come really late with my kid. I just know they are going to wait until 9 pm to say your order is ready so it can be closer to closing time. Smh. This is the second time they would be doing this waiting until closing time.  It was 9:06 and still wasn’t ready I really needed it sooner. Cancelled it.

I love target stores because I know what to expect once I go into any store. This store was a bit disappointing.  Right as you walk in the door, there are shelves of stock haphazardly thrown in the aisle making it difficult to enter the store. You have customers trying to shop, customers trying to get a cart and customers just trying to enter the store all in one tight area. I understand there is or was a remodel but it's really inconvenient and off putting with their placement. Hope it is not a permanent setup. Additionally, of the three times I have shopped here recently they have been out of stock of many items and multiple items have  been misplaced on shelves throughout the store. It seems haphazard and not well put together as a whole store. I continue to shop because it is nearby but I don't think it is of Target caliber.

My orders are almost always either missing something or have something wrong in them OR something extra from someone elses order. But the biggest issue here is how I consistently show up for drive up orders and there is ONE employee tending to every car. They're stressed out of their minds, everyone's waiting there for 30 minutes plus, I mean really? I don't understand. If you all are that understaffed, something needs to be done because this is insane. I'm still waiting for my order. In drive up. I've been sitting here for 43 minutes. I don't want to start yelling at the person bringing out orders because it's not their fault. But I can't just sit here all night??  How is this even possible? Last month I showed up and someone came to my car and told me they lost my whole order. My entire order and they apologized for it and refunded me but how does that even happen? This is horrible! I could've run in to 5 stores by now to get what I needed. Get it together.

This store has a slightly larger selection than some other Targets I've been to lately. Definitely lost points for the checkout process. Even though it was not yet 7 pm, there was a massive line to checkout, as they only had one cashier.

This one of my favourite store to buy baby clothes and they have always 5% additional discount for target debit or credit card. They also have additional discount on clearance. They have prompt and good customer service.  They also have Starbucks coffee in store entrance. That is my favourite coffee. I buy coffee sometimes when I visit target store. Target also have good return policy without asking more questions for most of items have one month return policy.
