This Target is awesome! It has a wide variety of clothes and food. I used self checkout so I can’t speak to the friendliness of the staff. I found everything that I was searching for.
Whoever the blonde light skinned black girl that followed me through out the entire target store needs to be fired today between hours 6pm-7pm ! Until you suspiciously seen me throw anything in my purse then stay in your place and know your job . Not every black girl that comes into target steals . I have a very successful job and can definitely get disciplined about my off duty actions. I don’t need you to follow me through the store ! Whenever I’m ready to pay for my things, I will pay on my own time ! If you thought I was a celebrity you could’ve came up to me and ask for an autograph ! Not watch me from afar and when my partner who is a sheriff sees you and looks at you … you walk away fast !
I go to this store regularly. Self-checkout is very often manned by associates who are pulled in multiple directions at once. If they're going to have a dozen stations for people to checkout, they should have at least two if not three associates there. I mean, isn't saving on that many fully manned rows enough? But yesterday, the self-checkout was manned by just one associate, but let me tell you, she had it down. Felicia was taking care of the entire area. She saw me slide my card over and over came over to me within a minute. With a smile on her face and a friendly tone, she said, 'Let me see if I can make this work. I have a few tricks.' And she did. Right away. I was out of there in like a minute. You should clone her. And then hire the clone, too. They can work together.
I used the pickup service for the first time. It was very convenient. I had to download the app to use it, but I would definitely use this time-saving service in the future. PLUS, I didn't get sucked into the trap of buying more things than I intended to which I am always guilty of!
Yesterday was the second experience at a Target store one in Charlotte, NC, and now this one in Fort Lauderdale that there have been zero and/or 1 cashier and only option is self check out, with a long line since it is...the only option. I DONT WORK FOR YOU. If you are not going to pay cashiers, and the customer is expected to do the work, every item scanned at self check out should be discounted 20% as payment for my services.
For the second time in less than a week I saw a shoplifter walk out and nobody seemed to care… why have Security if they don’t stop people? The guy today just casually strolled out, alarm ringing, carrying a new backpack fully loaded! He also had his ratty backpack on…
This Target is a great spot for locals. Due to its proximity to the beach and airport, it gets a lot of inventory and turns overs quite a bit. The food side could be better, but the tech and clothing selection is very good. The Starbucks is also really great and always has a ton of the latest retail cups and mugs. Definitely a good Target.
The people they have picking up carts in the parking lot were blocking the lanes and traffic was building up because they weren't moving out of the road. I honked my horn and they laughed at me. They weren't even picking up carts. The parking lot was a mess. If you found a spot, it had a cart in it. There were also people soliciting, harassing customers once they parked, running up to their cars. The solicitors and the cart pushers were messing around together and causing a disaster in the parking lot, being rude and inconsiderate. I went straight to the manager about this. I hope they did something about it. If you want a pleasant shopping experience where employees aren't going to make fun of you, just go to Amazon. I hope these people get fired.
Great location. Clean, ample parking, live music playing outside might be homeless person . Prices are really good. Organized. Capital one ATM inside. This location is a fully stocked location not a mini location.
This location is horrible. The parking lot is always dirty and filled with shopping carts. The employees are not friendly or presentable. For instance, the security guard was actually wearing a shower cap. What type of security guard wears a shower cap? The lack of professionalism is disturbing.
