Description

The Barre Code is the most efficient and results-driven women’s fitness program, with ever changing routines, new props and customized playlists and lighting. The Barre Code classes are a full-on fitness experience. Each class can be tailored to meet various fitness levels. The Barre Code is for anyone wanting a fun, fast paced, effective workout.

Kiersten has always been interested in health and fitness. She was involved in competitive cheer and track in her younger days and carried her love of health and fitness into selecting her college degrees. Kiersten holds a BA in Public Health Promotion and Pre-Medicine from Purdue University and a Masters in Health Sciences from The University of Alabama. Kiersten taught barre classes for two years while in Alabama but sought a program that went beyond the barre, thus she found and fell in love with The Barre Code. While teaching Personal Health classes at the University of Alabama, Kiersten trained to become a Master Trainer in Chicago and began the process of opening her own Barre Code studio.

Kiersten is very excited to bring this amazing women’s fitness program to the Park Cities area! She welcomes women of all fitness levels and ages, to come in and try the multiple class types offered. Each month Kiersten is offering Free Community Classes to give the community an opportunity to see why this is the most effective fitness program out there!

Generally, I do not enjoy working out, but The Barre Code has completely changed that for me. The instructors are helpful and encouraging, and the environment is far from intimidating regardless of what level you're at. I feel encouraged each time I take a class at The Barre Code, and the challenges they do have created accountability for me to reach my personal goals without making me feel like I'm competing with everyone in the studio. I highly recommend this studio if you are looking to get into shape in a positive and encouraging environment that makes each member feel welcome.
Workout changes daily, and so do the props used! This is awesome to keep your workout varied, especially with all of the different class options offered barre, brawl, etc.. The studio has been recently updated, including lighting and flooring! Instructors are great about interacting with each client, and all ages can do this workout style.
The instructors at Barre Code HP are inviting to all, no matter what your age or level of fitness. Their coaching style is encouraging, even when gently correcting your form. There is no judgment if you struggle to get through the moves. They have all the equipment you need for barre hand weights, kettle bell, disc, resistance bands, etc., and my favorites during HIIT and TBC 12 lb. body bar, 8 lb. med ball. Brawl class is also very challenging. The clientele are like family. I love everything about this place!
The Barre Code-Highland Park is amazing! This isn't just your standard workout studio, they consistently go above and beyond to give you the best experience every time you go. I love that the workouts are never the same and that they have something for everyone! Whether you're into barre, HIIT, bootcamp, yoga- they really have it all! The Barre Code has become such a big part of my life and I will be a client for a very long time. Thanks for pushing me past my limits!
I gain a little bit more strength every time I show up at Barre. The instructors are great at explaining the moves and what muscles they are working. This is helping me rebuild the strength lost during years of working a desk job.
Several of my college friends and I joined for a month over Christmas break, highly recommend. The classes were tough, but the atmosphere made you want to continue to work through it. Inexpensive and supportive staff.
Awesome workouts and a range of intensity in the different classes. Kiersten is one of the best instructors and will keep you motivated to get out of bed or beat rush hour traffic to make her class.
