The Vet's Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital located in the the North Denver/Thornton area. Most of our clients come from Thornton, North Denver, Northglenn, Westminster, Arvada, Brighton and other surrounding areas. Services offered range from routine veterinary procedures to more challenging medical and surgical procedures.

Made appointments and brought my two cats in for vaccinations, they told me they couldn’t see me and I rescheduled for 2 months later. They sent me many reminders for the appointments, and I showed up early. They kept me waiting 30 minutes in a hot room. I left. No one was parked in the parking lot and there were no patients. I’m not sure what the problem is, they did tell me both times that the vet was in surgery, but they could have called me and rescheduled instead of keeping me waiting with nervous cats. I don’t know why they get such good reviews, I guess some patients don’t register on their radar. Good luck with that!
I took my dog here for a dental cleaning and he had 2 teeth extracted. When I picked him up, he was covered in dry blood and his face was swollen, which I was told was "normal". I did not receive any communication from Dr. Sebunya about how the dental went. That night I had to bring my dog to the ER because he was profusely bleeding from his mouth and was in so much pain. Th ER was very surprised by the condition my dog was in from this dental procedure. I had to pay thousands of dollars just to stabilize my dog and save his life. My dogs face is bruised, swollen and the white of his eye is bloody. I ended up having to bring him to the ER for a second time because I woke up to him lying in a puddle of blood. I thought my dog died. I am no vet, but by the ER staffs reaction to my dogs condition, this is far worse than what a "difficult" extraction should be. Dr. Sebunya and his staff hurt my dog.
I have used this vet for a couple of years. Dr. Oklesh is amazing with my dogs, she is knowledgeable and caring. Most vet docs that I've had, have been good....., but she speaks to them with positive reinforcement, others have been very clinical and only speak to me.
We took our dog in because he was having severe symptoms they did an X-ray and didn't find anything and sent us home we called back because he was declining even more long story short our 1 yr old rottie died these ppl had no compassion didn't give us any resources our dog was established there thought we were in good hands and I have been beyond depressed I don't recommend this place at all. Symptom included Bloody stool Lathargy Throwing up loss of appetite severe weight loss sunkin eyes unsteady they showed no empathy rest in peace Boris
DO NOT COME HERE FOR A SPAY , they charged me $600 to spay my cat last year which is crazy, go to guardian angel the spays are $60! And with vaccines it was only $110. Will never be coming here again
If you are planning on coming here please be prepared to wait about 45-60 mins to see the doctor in a hot room with no working ventilation. Doesn’t matter if you had an appointment at a set time, this place will make you wait all damn day. They sure take their sweet time to get to you. CLEARLY they don’t care about their patients as much as all their signs say they do. Save yourself the TIME and go somewhere else. This was the worst experience with a Vets office I have ever had.
The Vets Animal Hospital has been our vet for almost 30 years. Over that time we've gone through some really odd things - removal of a botfly, cosmetic surgery to remove a little growth off an eyebrow, dental surgery, neutering...and of course regular check ups. They always get our boys in same day if needed. Their prices are quite reasonable for everything from an office visit/check up to dental surgery. The support staff is wonderful and friendly, as is Dr. Sebunya and the techs. Check out The Vets Animal Hospital if you're looking for a vet with a personal attitude where the entire staff loves and treats your animals like their own!
He is a very caring vet. They just need another vet to help with his busy schedule.
First time I had an appointment for a canine dental, thought drop off was between 0800-0830. I was wrong drop off is at 0800 so I had to reschedule. Front desk clerk is NOT friendly! Second appointment, I arrived at 0745 and no one is in, clerk arrived at 0759. If a patient is asked to be on time, staff should arrive earlier than the expected patient time. When I initially called to ask about dental fees I was given an amount of $300 and 10% off for the month. Went to pick up our dog and was asked to pay $462. Not a pleasant surprise. Was asked about why the difference in price and the front desk clerk shrugged her shoulders and stated there was a communication error and laughed. Never gave a real explanation.
Dr. Lindsay and team was absolutely incredible today 8/31. I've got two special needs dogs and I was so nervous bringing them into a vet. She was patient and calm really took her time with each of them. I love how she was able to educate me on there issues as well. I highly recommend vets hospital. Thank you again for all your help!!!
