We’ve heard the phrase “All dressed up and no where to go” … Well this theater is it. Apparently, each theater has had makeover but the concession area hasn’t. They still have the same overpriced snack offerings. This used to be a booming theater with tons of patrons. Not so post Covid. New reclining “leather” seats, complete with snack trays and drink holders and still… no people. This theater probably seats 375-400 and there are FOUR patrons seated. The Pandemic, Covid, Monkey Pox and all of that together has truly taken a toll on our society, families and communities in a huge way. It might be good that it’s not packed… probably less opportunity for some type of transmission- viral or otherwise…so there’s that.
I enjoy it here. Very nice seats and everyone is friendly. Good sound and overall a great place to watch a movie. We come alot already.
UPDATE -- I pasted up several theaters to come back here. That was a mistake. The entire place Lobby, Bathroom, XD Theatre were filthy. It looked like nothing had been cleaned for a while. To make it worse, someone in the crowd started vaping which stunk like Strawberries. The movie Scream VI was good, the experience was terrible. Not sure how this place stays open. It use to be a nice place. Went here today to watch The Invisible Man. The movie was good. The theater was clean and seat was comfortable. I'm happy.
Wow! As a frequent movie go-er, my bride and I dropped our jaw in amazement of the super happy, "glad you're here" attitude of Rick Gray. I asked him why he's so positive, upbeat in welcoming customers especially in today's world of anti-everything attitude. Then he told me he's been working at Tinseltown since it opened 18 years ago. Rick Gray is a precious asset for Cinemark and should be the top dog trainer for managers and staff. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, I give Rick Gray 10 stars. - Mike Butler
I have frequently visited the theater over the past two decades, but just recently, we had another opportunity to go back after about 10 years vacant due to other theaters opening in Louisville. That being said, they did upgrade their seating nicely. I had issues with two different things. 1st was the air hockey table in the arcade. It had nothing to hit the pucks on the table.. go figure. 2nd they charge the same as everyone else in town for popcorn and drinks but the difference between them and the competitors in town was Tinseltown gives no refills on anything not even popcorn wheras the compitition does! This really stinks after spending almost $9 for a bucket of popcorn that was mediocre at best. We wont be going back here any longer for these reasons.
seats were kinda uncomfy. the foot part comes all the way up to parallel with the ground but the back part only reclines the tiniest amount so you’re basically still sitting upright other than that had a good experience. restrooms could have used some attention
Got our tickets online. Got in line for popcorn and cokes. Took our seats and enjoyed the movie the Equalizer 3. About thing that I didn't like was too many previews .
Good location and plenty of parking. Generally courteous staff. Needs an update. The carpet, seating and the swing tables are getting worn-out. Unpleasant smell in parts of the theater.
I really enjoyed how nostalgic I felt when I walked in, movie was fantastic and the staff was awesome. Only downside I saw was the gnats in the theater. I felt like I was at an outdoor cookout.
Nice and clean. Enjoyed the movie experience, and my sons got souvenirs.
