My husband and I have both been seeing Dr PURATH for years and have had life transforming experiences under her care. We suffer from debilitating migraines and she has worked with both of us to figure out exact causes and our different therapies have been greatly successful under her care. Her empathy, care and compassion are palpable. Thank you Dr PURATH! Every other doctor that we see speaks VERY highly of her and that in itself has been comforting and encouraging.

Dr Purath was absolutely wonderful!! She is warm and welcoming AND took care of my headaches!! I am blessed to get my life back! Nobody should ever think they need to live with chronic headaches!! This has changed my life.

I’d been searching for years for a diagnosis of my temporary & transient language/cognitive disorder that I instinctively knew were part of my migraines, but was continually dismissed by both doctors and neurologists alike. Until I met Dr Traci! Not only did she diagnosed me correctly with migraine aura with aphasia, but gave me medication to help treat it. If you’re suffering from migraine auras, she’s the one to see. This is her very unique specialty!

Dr Purath is the best physician I've ever been to. I have severe, chronic migraines that have persisted the past 7 years and the most relief I've received has been with her. I receive botox treatments and she makes the unpleasant procedure fast and as comfortable as possible. She clearly spends a lot of time and energy on continuing education; I've been to several neurologists and she is by far the most knowledgeable and experienced. Not only this, but she is so incredibly kind. I started to cry in one of my appointments out of frustration, and not only was that not irritating to her which it is with so many doctors but also she sent me a card in the mail a few days later telling me to hang in there. Who does that? I'll tell you: the nicest doctor in the world. I've also only had pleasant experiences with her staff. I really like her nurse, and their billing specialist has been great at jumping through all hoops my crappy insurance throws at him. I was happy when they moved to Greenfield so I didn't have to drive so far, but I'd drive to another state to see her if I needed to. I'm sorry that the other reviewer had an unpleasant experience, but I strongly disagree about Dr. Purath being a bad doctor for severe cases or being unhelpful in crisis situations. That has not remotely been my experience.

It’s been years since I saw Dr. Purath, but that experience will not be forgotten. She and her staff were so kind and professional. I felt that she would be able to successfully treat my migraines. Instead she tried me on every pill she could, including for Alzheimer’s. When nothing worked she dropped me like a hot potato! I’d heard from others , via what I do for a living, that she did this often but didn’t believe it until it happened to me. Guess she wanted to keep her success rate high.

I have been going to Dr. Purath for a few years now and I love her care! She has always been very professional, kind and willing to try anything. She listens to not just the physical pain I suffer from because of my migraines but my emotional pain from the fight as well. She truly cares about every patient! And is always quick to schedule appointments, answer calls, respond to emails or questions I might have. If you are seeking help for headaches or migraines I 100% recommend Dr. Purath.

In reading these reviews, quite frankly I am gobsmacked that anyone could have an unkind thing to say about her. I have been seeing Dr Purath for 5 + years. I have been having migraines for over 40 years, and more than 20 per month for 25-30 years. In spite of being on a myriad of drugs over the years, nothing has been effective at keeping them at bay. I went to Traci upon the recommendation of one of my colleagues who was pleased with her results for migraine treatment. Not only is she the best neurologist that I've seen, but by FAR the best medical professional I've ever had the pleasure to be treated by in my entire life. I have always beeen treated in a kind, compassionate loving manner by Traci. Though she does not get migraines herself, she is keenly aware of the agonizing pain and depth of despair chronic migraine sufferers endure. There have been a few treatment approaches that weren't fully successful, but she never gave up on me, nor would she let me give up. She continued to try different things until finding something that has dramatically helped my migraine disease. She's tried meds that my primary doctor has never heard of being used for migraine; she's innovative. She understands how insurance companies can try to impede care at times and will go to bat 100% for her patients. I have never felt rushed under her care. She sits down and takes all the time needed to be thorough in her interventions. She is always, always willing to answer every question I've ever had. Traci has been such a blessing in my life. I've been able to reclaim parts of my life that I had to give up on for many years due to migraine pain. Not only do her patients love her, but she is also well respected in the medical community. I couldn't possibly recommend any other doctor as strongly as I'd recommend Dr Purath. I am so grateful for her.

Great professionalism and "bedside manner" when I was seen by Dr. Purath. She is very understanding and compassionate. I could never see her being verbally abusive towatds any of her patients. Now, I am a very timid person when it comes to going to see a new doctor, but there was no untrustworthy feeling when I was being seen and evaluated by her. She even gave me a hug when I broke into tears, telling me, "We will work through this together." Dr. Purath has a very nice and welcoming office location, located conveniently near Southridge Mall. I am always at ease when I go into see her.

I met Traci over 10 years ago when she was my attending neurologist during my stroke. My stroke was related to my lifetime of migraines and headaches. I have been seeing her ever since. To say she is a consummate professional is true, but she is so much more! Her empathy, kindness and gentle spirit are ever present. I feel total confidence in her - which is saying a lot because in a lifetime of struggling, I've seen more than my share of neurologists and she's the first that I trust and moreover - like! She's never too busy to explain things i dont understand, or to answer my numerous questions. Her staff is equally as professional and very kind. I highly recommend Dr. Traci Purath to anyone suffering from the pain and fear of headaches and migraines! For the first time in my life, I don't have daily headaches and crippling migraines two or three times a week When you're in pain, it's difficult to think of anything but the pain - let alone function. Dr. Purath has given me my life back. I wish I had found her 25 years sooner!!

I met with Dr. Purath and her staff today for the first time. I honestly am still in shock at the care I received. Dr. Purath and her staff, trust me they were all involved, showed me so much care and compassion at a time when I desperately need it. I have several issues and she jumped right in and took action. She not only took action she also has a plan which I haven't had in some time now. I honestly can not express how happy I am to have been referred to Dr. Purath. Dr. Purath and her team most definitely will go out of their way to care for you.
