PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS STORES There are other stores with excellent service, super staff within 2miles from here at old apex road. The staff members Iqbal and James at the place 9591 Chapel Hill Road place are too arrogant and their manual errors they are calling as system glitch. They should be fired on the reviews and feedback from the customers. The two representatives are the ones who served us and they themself have no coordination among themselves. They kept asking us for the same documents for at least four times God knows what they were doing with the system and lastly they asked us to leave the stores and not be willing to do the business. The way Iqbal speaks with the customers is worst. There were 2/3 customers who walked in and they were overcharged because of all invalid reasons. Also, please read the contract before signing with them as they go by the contract and not by their word's they agreed on. They will overcharge you for extra time or cleaning, etc. Instead go to other stores nearby.

They charged me 2x more than expected from U-Haul instore pickup price for a box I needed. This place may be a goto for shipping needs. But since they charged me double, I cannot recommend this place to anyone unless they are willing to pay double the price.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! I ordered a ubox for my move. It was supposed to be dropped off on Friday, the 9th and picked up on Monday, the 12th. Friday comes and I receive 4 texts saying it will arrive bw 1-4 but the box NEVER COMES. They do not try to call me or contact me to tell me if there was a problem. I call and they tell me that they won't be dropping it off until Monday, the 12th now and will now be picking it up Thursday, the 15th. Very annoying, but I deal with it. Monday comes, I get text updates on the arrival of the box, and again NO BOX ever comes. I again call them bc no one has reached out to me to let me know what is happening. They say they will drop it Tuesday. On Tuesday it finally gets dropped off 5 days late. My husband and I are up until 1am trying to rush to pack it. When we go to close the door, IT DOES NOT CLOSE AND THE PADLOCK PART DOES NOT LINE UP! We have to leave all of our stuff packed and unlocked in our driveway. Thursday, the 15th comes and they are supposed to pick up the box and help us close and lock it. No big surprise but they NEVER SHOW UP. I call and speak to people EVERY SINGLE DAY, including managers Lauri and Katelyn, who promise that it will be picked up that day. Well, IT'S NOW MONDAY, THE 19TH AND THIS BOX IS STILL SITTING IN THE DRIVEWAY OF THE HOUSE THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MOVED OUT OF ON THE 15th! Not to mention that the door still isn't fully closed and it hasnt been locked this entire time. My original contract is for them to store it until the end of the month and then bring it to my new house. I'm terrified that I will not get my stuff back bc they are so completely unorganized here!! AGAIN! DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE LOCATION!! BEYOND INCOMPETENT!!

No moving equipment available, Dollie’s and pads but owner of location said I could rent his, not U-Haul’s for a higher cost and only during his business hours and not the 24/7 rental time I requested.

Very friendly and accommodative based on customers requirements. Well maintained equipment with transparent billing.

When I rented the truck, the person who took the reservation for me was tapping the little pad and asked if I wanted coverage. I declined and he kept tapping and tapping. I was charged $10 for that coverage anyways. When I asked about it he said oh I’ll talk to the manager and call you about a refund and never did. Also, when I used the truck 7/8 miles TOTAL it took $12 in gas!! Who over had it on “full” was not actually on “full”. The truck was parked on a whole different side of the building than the manager or whoever took my order said it was and I spent over half an hour in the July heat trying to figure out where my truck was. When I went to him to ask he just told me that it was where he said it was. I had to go look through the other lot behind the building to find it on my own. Absolutely the worst uhaul experience I have EVER had!! I will not be back here!

Easy to rent, easy to return. Truck was available, affordable, and in good condition, no hassle

We found out after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, 2/23/22, that we needed a truck on Thursday. It was the last weekend of the month and online showed all trucks were rented. We called and the person who answered the phone said he would look and call us back, as someone was there to pick up a truck. At 5:58 6:00 closing time we had given up that he had blown us off. He called us back and said he could not find a truck but he had passed it up the line and they said they would find us a truck. Within the hour we had a call saying they had a truck for us. We appreciate him going above and beyond. for us. I know when we need a truck in the future, we will definitely use them.
