The main offices of UMass Lowell's Career Services & Cooperative Education Center are located at 220 Pawtucket Street in 450 University Crossing. We also have a satellite office on UMass Lowell's South Campus, on the ground floor of O'Leary Library, room 105. We help students and alumni develop the knowledge and understanding to make informed career choices and the job search skills to secure enjoyable and meaningful career opportunities throughout their lifetime.
The mission of the Career Services & Cooperative Education Center is to help students successfully transition from their academic pursuits to their career goals by promoting and facilitating career education, exploration of options and connections with employers.
UMass Lowell's Career & Co-op Center offers a wide variety of career-related services:
- Individual career counseling
- Co-op and internship guidance
- Drop-in service to respond to quick questions and critiques of resumes, cover letters, and other job correspondence
- Practice interviews (in person, by phone, and online!)
- Career fairs
- Workshops
- Career presentations to student groups, classes, and other gatherings
- On-campus interviewing
And our online services include access to job, internship, and co-op opportunities; InterviewStream online interview practice, FOCUS vocational assessments, career videos, "Hot News" about local/campus career events, and "What Can I Do With This Major?"
