This library is huge! There are so many books. The staff are friendly, and there are great work spaces.
Great place to study. Levels get quieter as you go up.
I've visited it several times during summer school or when I came for vacation to study or just to spend time at the ninth floor to enjoy the beautiful view across Greensboro. It's a great plays to study and to enjoy the student life. And they have every book! When I try to find a book at home where I study it's not so good equipped like the library here on UNCG.
Very nice place to work there quietly
They stayed open for quite awhile during the pandemic. I am working on a research project and I found the librarians helpful, funny and practical. I was impressed. Now, I needed 2 ebook sources and at first I was denied access, but someone must have gone the extra mile because three days later, the books showed up in my inbox. I was worried because they were closed, but they must still be working on things. I also am trying to get peer reveiwed journals and if I go to the website, I can only read so far. I am thankful for the account at the library so I can read the article in it's entirety. I am grateful for the work and effort of librarians curating our research efforts! That's a lot of tedious work and effort--way to go Jackson Library!
Love this library, there's something different on every floor. The superlab has been upgraded and now includes really nice chairs and desks that can be adjusted to your height.
Has room for everything. Huge book selection, 5 large computer labs, plenty of study room, rentable devices, and more. The process of finding books could be easier but you just have to ask a receptionist and they will help.
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro University Libraries system has two branches on campus, both located in Greensboro, NC. These include the Walter Clinton Jackson Library and the Harold Schiffman Music Library. Affiliated campus libraries include the Teaching Resource Center and SELF Design Studio in the School of Education, the Interior Architecture Library in the Gatewood Studio Arts Building, and the Intercultural Resource Center located in the Elliot University Center.
Huge library where we can find every book we need and a peaceful place to study
The library very huge and there are many metirals on it students can use.
