I ordered something in the mail and I got it Monday and it was completely smashed. I have pictures and videos on my package. So be careful who delivers your mail they might just smash it in a very small mailbox.
Built in 1935 from New Deal funds this historic building maintains a timeless quality of its era. A large mural inside entitled “The Arrival of the Mail” was completed in 1937 and restored in 1974. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is difficult with no designated lot, otherwise a quality location.
The postal carrier, and I live on old Morgantown rd in Martinsville, IN bent a metal sign in half in order to put it in my mailbox. It was a Christmas gift for my grandson and now it's totally ruined. Thanks!
Hoot owl division...We use to get our mail around10 am like clockwork for 20 years. The last several years we are lucky if its here by 8 or 9 pm, maybe if they are running on time. Before long I may have to set the alarm to get up and go get it. Our box is close to 1/2 mile away so looking 7 or 8 times gets to be a real hassle. They always have a sign out front "hiring rural carriers"...for months it was there so I ask. They told me they are not hiring just have not moved the sign, maybe they did not like my appearance, not enough tattoos. I stopped wondering why are mail comes in the middle of the night, but hey its the government so who cares since they are probably all BZ printing more money to give away. I feel sorry for the poor chumps who get to read yesterdays newspaper for full price. I gave them 2 starts since its the holidays, Good luck......
Was expecting a package from Amazon. Normally carrier brings them to the house. Got a email from Amazon stating carrier did not want to leave package unattended. I was home!!!! Three vehicles in the driveway. I watched carrier sit at mailboxs for over five minutes and never come down the driveway. It's a DIFFERENT carrier everyday!!!!! I get my neighbors mail. I wonder where my mail goes. Had a great carrier for years! Please get me another carrier that can handle the job. Two weeks ago a different carrier left a package for my neighbor sitting on top of her newspaper box, in the road, in plain sight where anyone could steal it. Either they don't worry about packages at all and leave them in the road or are afraid to leave them on the porch of someone who is obviously home.
For some reason I am not getting my mail but my husband is and it's happened quite a few times. Currently waiting on mail that was sent out 1 day before my husband and he got his 3 days ago.
This post office may be small but the first time you enter, you feel like you have just walked in to the early 1900s! One of historical gems if Martinsville. Unlike so many post offices that have not stood the test of time, been remodeled, or updated to a Mid-Century industrial feel, this one still has all its original charm. I love seeing the old hardware on the mailbox door fronts and the murals on the walls and smile every time I walk in. The staff is always courteous and efficient.
Have not had a mail delivey since 02/13/2021. Today is 02/18/2021. Guess our mail carrier has decided we do not need mail anymore, or is in Florida. Makes it hard to pay the house payment.
Suppose to have packages being delivered. I get a alert saying USPS cannot access driveway. My cameras show the entire road including my driveway and no one has attempted to pull in my driveway all day. Sounds to me like they just didn't want to or have time to drive the packages to my house. Ridiculous. Not to mention the driver constantly cuts through yards to get to the next driveway. I will be calling in this is getting ridiculous not to mention the wait to call in is 45minutes to a hour. USPS has really gone downhill.
Rude over the phone when you call, and I truly believe that my postal carrier or the post office is holding my mail, I was suppose to receive a social security check for my daughter on the first of April, I didn't get it til late the 2nd, and the stamp on the front of the check said delivery date 1st, I've never had a problem with mail coming late before, I'm not sure why I didn't receive it the day the envelope said it was delivered. How can it be already delivered to me when it hasn't even got here? I think someone needs to be investigated.
