Incredible service over the years to my pups. We're gonna miss them as we moved to a new state.
Friendly Staff, they try to upsell a lot. I was told that my second appointment would not have an exam charge. I brought my puppy in for a Lepto vaccine and was in and out in less than a couple of minutes. I was charged again… I don’t appreciate being lied to and being pushed to pay for services I don’t understand but they scare you into thinking that it’s completely necessary. I’m going back to my vet that’s 2 hours away. Not coming back.
We got a new yorkie puppy that developed a bad cough the day after we got him. Took him here as they were the only ones available. I was in sales and noticed the upselling immediately. They did a bunch of tests and an x-ray and said our new pup would likely die if he was not hospitalized and had pnuemonia. We ended up taking him back to where we got him, and the breeder picked him up to nurse him back. 2 days later and the breeder said he is coming back strong and we should have him back in a couple of days. I don't trust anyone anymore. This Vet made it sound worse to make more money. We were in tears all day thinking our new dog would die before we got to know him. Instead of being positive, you focused on the worst case scenario TO MAKE MONEY. Avoid this place.
I am disappointed . Our dog was vomiting with an antibiotic they prescribed with a side effect of nausea and vomiting! Then, they refused to change prescription without another vet visit. The second office visit ran 2 hours late but to their credit they made a monetary adjustment.
The staff are all wonderful. They are caring, honest, the dr. Schmill is compassionate and I trust my pets with no one else.
Friendly staff. Maybe it's me but I'm shocked everytime at the costs. I really don't appreciate the scare tactics and the upsell, especially when just in for vaccine updates. I was presented with all these other vax right away to the tune of $800!! When I told the tech my dog eats wet food, she came back with an estimate for dental work in the thousands...thanks but no thanks. Also closed on weekends so no sat appointments for those that work during the week.
I've been bringing my dog here for around three years. The staff has always been incredibly friendly, and I feel I can trust their opinions and care of my dog. I'm always able to get my dog in for an appointment and I can even bring them in just for nail clippings and it's never more than just a few days wait. there have been times where I needed to get my dog in to be seen that day and they still were able to schedule me in. I highly recommend this place.
On Tuesday for 17th I had to bring in my dog Alice J Pickles because she was extremely Ill .she was diagnosed with Pyometra and emergency surgery was required IMMEDIATELY. Dr Chmiel , Hannah , Aubrey , SJ , and Sam , did everything they could to make sure they took care of not just Pickles , but they took the time to take care of me as well . They got me a great flexible payment plan , and went above and beyond ANY expectations I had for treatment and compassion . In addition they have been checking up on us , and have been making sure that not just Pickles is on the mend , but me and my family . Having a family member which is exactly how I refer to my dogs and cats suddenly become Ill and is knocking on deaths door , no matter who you are , it’s traumatic . The staff at Valencia Animal Hospital don’t just have a an amazing dedication to there profession , but also to ANYONE or ANYTHING that comes through their door
The staff and doctor were awesome! Allie the Vet Tech came down to my dogs level and put her right at ease. The doctor took her time and went over the exam in detail and gave lots of alternative options for my dogs needs. My dog had an ear swollen and warm they got her in next day. Not only did they seem to actually care they did not charge unreasonable rates for emergency appointment. This is our new family veterinary so glad we found them
These guys are awesome. My pup sliced his paw open on trying to get into a chicken coop and they saw home immediately. There were able to stitch him up within the hour and I was able to bring him home that evening. Super awesome people to work with and I would recommend 100%.
